I could never pull up a window sticker until it said my truck was built . I tried several times , after the built notification came the window sticker pulled up first time.
My sticker came up a week ago. As-built data is still not available which confirms truck is not built. I'm hoping I jump to production before 5/5. I've got upgrades to get done before I start my summer camping season, and Sturgis in Aug.

yea. Not me. I was scheduled for 2/24, went to in production last week for a few days and just went out of production and rescheduled to 5/5.
😭
Same thing just happened to me. Truck has been in production for 5 days and just got an email saying it’s been moved to May. If that’s true, I’m canceling and buying a Ram. I’m not waiting 7 months for an ordered truck.

Crap, I wonder what’s going on!
What did you order? I wonder if a certain option is causing the problem?
Lariat ultimate, Tremor, diesel, black pkg, 5th wheel prep, pro power.
I was really on the fence about which one to buy, Ram or Ford. I think I chose wrong. My last two Ford purchases have been painful experiences. I should have known.

Easy for me to say, but just as the date was pushed back, it could also come back, so I would see if your salesman/dealer can get any more information, or call Ford directly.
[QUOTE=Charlie98;21501982]It's not a mystery... it's been going on since the Wuhan Flu nonsense, and probably earlier. They have to have all the parts on hand to build a specific truck. If ONE part or assembly is missing, it gets rescheduled. That's everything from paint and hoods, to a simple wiring harness or assembly nut. Lately, Ford has been having issues with some of the options... like the bedliner. That's
Dealer is telling me the same thing. Prior to Covid, 6-8 weeks. Now he does not know what to tell anyone. Never any clarity as to what the issues are. If mine gets bumped out after 5+ months waiting, I may bail. GMC dealer has a lot full of 25s. My issue is finding a one ton. Scarce with GM, plus I really prefer the 7.3. Sux.

Just requested to cancel order with my dealer. If I get my deposit back I'm ordering a 25 Ram 3500 Limited Mega Cab. Was quoted 14% off MSRP from Koons. I was on the fence for a while but couldn't get the color I wanted and air suspension so went with another Ford. Ram just opened up both for ordering so fate may dictate me to jump. Love the F-450 but honestly always hated the transmission, skip shifts, etc. Had my trans replaced at 13k and now at 44k still having issues with trans. That ZF 8 speed should be a game changer for Ram. Just worried about other changes to the cummins. Had 4 diesel Rams before and no issues so....
Be Wary with Koons. They are the General RV of the auto world. Make sure you go over ALL the paperwork and make sure it gets properly signed! Have had a couple friends get screwed with financing through Koons costing them money and higher payments.

yep. They tried that on 18 trackhawk. Agreed on finance % then when I got there went up a few points. I have over 800 score. I walked out and manager ran to parking lot and caught me when pulling out of parking spot. Never fall in love to any vehicle that you can’t walk away from.
My dealer called their rep today to see what’s up and got no response so not looking good. I’ll give it another day. When I ordered I was told 3 months. It looked like it was going to be 4 but with the holidays that was fine. But a 3 month push out is not going to be acceptable unless Ford wants to do a lot financially to make it worth my while and I’m sure they won’t.
Dealer has been great and is actually run by a friend. I’m trading 2 vehicles and they made me great offers on them but I can’t ask them to honor those numbers for an extra 3 months. Not fair to anyone.
I was torn between a 25 Ford and a 25 Ram. When I ordered Ram didn’t have the specs and full order details on the 25’s so I went Ford. Now Ram does so it would be an easy switch to make.

lariat ultimate tremor black 5th wheel full recline seats. Wonder if the fifth is holding both our orders up. From watching these scheduling videos they always talking about fifth prep constraints.

So I mentioned this in another thread. What my dealer got from the factory rep earlier this month is in January, only 2% of the trucks with fifth wheel prep got the parts to move into production. For February that number was being bumped up to 22% getting the allocation. Ordered on 10/18, on 2/14 I got my production date of 3/31. I guess that was my valentines gift from Ford. Let’s see if they hold to it without bumping it out.

Yes. I saw that. What is surprising is that they seem to schedule the trucks knowing only a small percentage will actually get built. Doesn't seem very efficient nor fair to simply boot me to the end of the line sort of speak. I think anyone placing orders & getting a vin today are scheduling to May. Using this logic when May comes around if all the parts (hitch) are still not available then I get bumped another few months? What happens if other parts become not available that were available today? Definitely not serving orders on a first-come-first-serve basis. Arghhhhhh.......
