If you order the XLT with the black appearance package you can add the Heavy-Service Front Suspension Package. F350 already has the rear overload springs. Just buy the anti sway bar aftermarket and install it after delivery of the truck.
Any package with 20 inch wheels will not let you order the Camper or Snowplow/Camper Package.
If you order like above all that is missing is the certificate, anti sway bar and 18 inch wheels.

Makes sense - Thanks for the input Recon. Just sucks since I want 18" wheels for the side wall flex off-road. I was actually OK with the 2024 stock black Alum wheels, but I guess I'll need to buy aftermarket. Now, instead of buying a couple extra, I need to buy 8 total wheels and tires so that my trailer matches, so it's just a lot more needless expense because they took those options away this year. Upgrading from my 2003 and will be moving the moving the flatbed and camper over to the new one.

My 2025 XL came with crappy 17" steel wheels. I bought a set of takeoff 18" black STX wheels... same ones that are on my 2023.... for $800. Sure, I could have bought aftermarket wheels, but I like them well enough, and I can swap wheels between trucks if I have to.
I woke up to a nice Valentine's Day gift this morning. I assume there isn't any way to track the shipment prior to it arriving at the dealer? Years ago I had ordered a Jeep and was able to track the train until it was actually delivered to the dealer. My sticker says convoy, so I don't know if I am close enough for it to ship via truck the entire way?
Last week I chatted with someone from Ford customer service to see if they would give me any details on my shipment, but they only told me that the latest information is available online. When I asked if they could give me any shipping details like the current location, they told me they are not allowed to provide anything different than what is on the web tracking due to security concerns. I didn't push them any further.
I reached out again today because I noticed the last updated date changed to the 17th, but still showed as shipped. "Ana" was very nice and after checking her system for a few minutes she told me that the truck is currently on a train in Walbridge Ohio (just outside of Toledo) waiting for the next move. I asked her if there was any way I could get the tracking info so I wouldn't have to bother her again and she went away for a few minutes and came back with the rail carrier name and car number. I then asked her if she knew if I could track it online and she came back after a few minutes and gave me the phone number for the automated tracking system. After hanging up, I called the number and found out that my truck arrived in Walburg on the 17th at 12:01am and is waiting for the next pickup. I wonder if it will go on a truck from there since it is only about 75 miles to the dealer from Toledo.

The things we do to pass the time while waiting .
Yeah if you get the right person they'll give you any information you want. If you get the wrong one they don't want to look anything up.
As for rail, especially when it comes to automotive/vehicles, there are only certain yards where they can be unloaded (the factory has a ramp to load them somewhere nearby, if not on site, depending on what factory). If the car with your truck is already at the yard, then yeah, they're just waiting to move it to the unload dock. If it's in just a random rail yard, then it could be a bit still - depending on how much room the unload yard has available for cars to sit.
I ordered an F-450 XL and received order confirmation on 8/16/2023 and still have no build date. I've talked to my dealer multiple times and they keep telling me that Ford is having a hard time producing F450's. Is anyone else having to wait this long for a 450? Thankfully I am patient and don't need the truck right now, but it's been over 1.5 years and still no movement.

Have you verified that the dealer placed a new order for the 2025 model year? I could be wrong, but I read that orders are no longer being carried over and need to be placed again after the end of the model year production.

That is what happen to my 2024 f450 order. My dealer had to re-input my order into the 2025 order bank. I just received a build date a few days ago for the week of 3/31/25.

I placed my order on 20 Jan 2025. I got my production date email on 14 Feb 2025 with a production date of 31 Mar 2025.
Ford announced it’s doubling F450 production in the coming months. So they are indeed building them. In my humble opinion it boils down to the quality of the dealer, dealer allocation, dealer priority code, and Ford factory commodities.
I purposely pursued a reputable dealer, discussed prioritization and allocation, and ensured I had nothing on my order that could be done aftermarket.

If things hold, your 450 and my 350 should be built the same week.
