Evening Tim and Preston. Poultry can be a lot of work but you know what you are eating when all said and done. we used to raise chickens for meat when the kids were home, whew! 50 birds one year!
Merry Monday morning Washington, Tim, Ken, Steve, Preston, Ken, Wayne and all the crew.
Nice picture Ken and we are not in full color yet.
A friend has turkeys and yes, they are a work processing, but they are some very good eating. The roosters that were processed a couple a weeks ago were great and I believe we have 6 or 7 to process in a month or so!
Tim, glad the Bronco is coming along and maybe soon we will see it in the road. Then, Maybe, Just Maybe you can give Pat a few pointers on how to finish a project! LOL
Started the morning at 31°, bright and full sun came over the ridge top, currently 58° and headed to about 72° today. Through Halloween we will be in the 70's and 80's in the day. The weekend will be back to seasonal temps in the 60's!
Good sunny Monday, got a lot of little things done over the weekend. The sprinklers got blown out and the flag pole installed. I had the wife help me lift the pole in the hole and trimmed out the base. Overall the job wasn't too overly difficult and no worse than expected. I'm happy, I think it looks good there.
Well now that I have the Bronco body swapped over. We moved the 4-post to the other side of the pole barn and unloaded the camper, it still needs to be winterized at least it's parked for the winter. I need to blow our irritation lines out also, that's about a half day job or more the way we have it setup.
Evening Tim, Wayne and Preston. Tim, that is a milestone with the Bronco. Congrats. Wayne, I agree, that pole came out really nice! Preston, who actually does the typing? LOL
