Good morning Oregon and everyone everywhere else. 33.5, up from 32, clear blue skies and sunny.
Had a good meeting last night. Had members bring in firearms from the 1800’s and earlier. Nice “show and
tell”.
Which boat shop did you settle on Rich?
Heading out to Evergreen Museum in a few. A friend (LtCol USMC-Ret) asked for some help with a group and I volunteered. Meeting up with a bus load of Vets from the Lebanon Vets Home and taking them through the museum.
Maxxum in Eugene. They service most of the sheriff's boats around so they should understand what I have. I couldn't get a call back or someone to pick up the phone at Dennis's.
Good evening Oregon and everyone everywhere else.
The day went well. We had two busses with Vets from the Lebanon Veterans Home. All of them wheelchair bound. Had a lot of fun with them. A couple of them with electric race cars for wheel chairs somewhat adventuress and presented some challenges to keep up with. There was also a birthday party for Peggy Lutz, a local WWII WAVE Air Traffic Controller. She is 102 years old! She's in the local American Legion and Vets Club. Quite a gal.
