Good evening Oregon and everyone everywhere else. Got back to Bravo this evening and were greeted by about 20 head of elk and the two honkers. Elk got off the lane and into the trees down by the house before I got the camera out but you can see the brown patches in the woods. Apparently the elk have returned from their winter retreat.
Good morning Oregon and everyone everywhere else. 25, mostly clear, sunny & fresh snow on the ground. So much for mowing & washing the car and pickup today.
Have a safe trip Chris.
The Warden did manage to get a quick snap shot of one that was still in the open.
Maria and I were up at a buddies place last year that we hadn't seen in a few years. He was so excited before we left, we had to drive around on his Zero Turn. I think he looks forward to mowing his yard now that he has a Zero Turn.

I backed it off the trailer and then made a few circles an maneuvers out on the paddock. Came to the conclusion that they take a little getting used too. I took it real slow putting it into the pole barn. It got parked between Camper, Mazda, tractor and table saw. It’s a big pole barn that I seem to be showing quite a talent for making it look so small. Of course the two rooms built in the barn don’t help.

Now that’s not good Chris. Just a hose or something more nefarious? Hopefully an easy fix?
On the other hand we were at Costco yesterday getting a few supplies for Bravo. I have never seen it that busy in Salem One would have thought people were getting ready ready for Memorial Day, 4th of July, Labor Day weekend holidays along with 2 major disasters all rolled into one. Every single check stand and self service were open with carts backed up down the aisles at all of them. Just never seen any Costco so backed up. I guess the tell all was when we got there, there were very few grocery carts available. Lot attendants were bringing them in rapidly, and the carts were going out just as quickly.
It took us 32 minutes to get up to where we could unload the cart.

Another miss diagnosis on the van. The leak was from the oil cooler connection, but the hose was super soft from a previous oil leak.
Good morning Oregon and everyone everywhere else. Currently 31 with partial overcast. The clear sky is slowly disappearing. Not sure how much will visibility will be left when the eclipse gets here.
