Well, I have to call ODFW on Monday morning. They apparently have a glitch in the computer system that is blocking my existing Pioneer Combination licenses. I loaded up the Wardens Account today and it is working just fine and she is able to sync on the phone.
The Fellow at Bi-Mart couldn't get anything we wanted to pop up either. He thinks it has to do with having both the Disabled Vet Status and the Pioneer License. He just started seeing this a couple of months ago. He's not sure but is willing to bet that they changed something in their system that is messing with multiple classified ODFW account Profiles.
Guess we'll find out Monday morning.
Good morning Oregon and everyone everywhere else. 28 with 27 mph wind and a dusting of snow. AccuWeather says the snow is going to stop at 0830, but start again at 1500 and the winds should be calming down 13 - 25.
NOAA is a lot more generous with their snow prediction. I don’t see much accumulation here though. The pass 20 bird miles distance looks pretty well covered though.
Chris, Not growing just slow. Got the floor dried out. Vacuumed up the mold then had to wash the floor so I get a good kill on the mold so it's wet again. Fans and dehumidifiers running again. I was surprised how much that vac picked up. I bet it got 80% of it. I broke down and ordered a moisture meter that will arrive in a few days so I will know exactly what the moisture is. Just need to get the tent down so I can work on dry wall. I could probably take it down now but I think that will slow the drying so just waiting.
Good afternoon Oregon and everyone everywhere else.
You going to coat everything down with Kilz Rich or do you have something else in mind?
More nice weather las night and all day so far.
Early this morning at Odell Lake, 19 miles from Bravo. Not my boat, but the owner was excited as he was wanting to go out for Kokes. Took him an hour to get going. We've been out in these conditions. Right now I'm feeling a lot better about being grounded from fishing and strenuous activities for another 3-1/2 weeks
Good morning Oregon and everyone everywhere else. 32 with mostly overcast sky.
We've been out several times with snow and ice storms. Last time was on Diamond Lake. Had to stop every 40 to 50 yards to clean ice off the windshield so we could see where we were going. We leave the full canvas up with a camp stove going and a pot of coffee on. Leave the side and back curtain hanging so we can get through like a tent flap. Sit back in sweatshirts and look at people on other open boats bundle up like Eskimos to the point they can't bend their arms to cast.
Obviously that isn't happening that year as I sit here in front of the fire with the boat safely tucked away in the Pole Barn.
Year ago, I did some fishing in the winter with snow coming down. I would have been the one of the guys all bundled up wishing I had a cuddy cabin with a stove and a pot of coffee.
