WOW!!! I just tallied the number of trucks produced on the tracking list over the last 3 weeks. The cut back of the 1 shift apparently had a drastic effect on the trucks on this list.
w/o 8/23 - 40
w/o 8/30 - 38
w/o 9/6 - 12

9 Day Build

Not bad for lots of tabs including bedliner, retractable tonneau and safe. The comment made yesterday about how to help a friend stop checking the tracker 75 times daily was SO funny because I have that problem. Thanks for ALL the hard work invested in the Guide and spreadsheets by PhoenixFLA!!

BUT at some point, in the Ford Pass App a button appears that allows you to "Activate" your truck. If you press it now it won't sync with your truck because nobody will (likely) accept the request in the truck, but I'm more interested in WHEN that button becomes available.

Is it right when the truck's battery is connected and it's started for the first time? Would be cool if we could figure that out.
I’m scheduled to be built tomorrow. I’d be happy to add this to my rotation of things I obsessively check throughout the day.

My VIN was already in the FordPass app, but it showed nothing... so I deleted it and tried to add it back (thinking it would force the "activation" screen others are now seeing)... no luck. The website won't take the VIN, and a pop up tells me to re-enter or cancel when trying to enter it. The app told me the FordPass app wasn't responding, so after a delete, reinstall and trying again, it now tells me that this is an invalid VIN. I contact the FordPass Chat Now people and they tell me it's either a typo, or an invalid VIN.. I explained it was correct and sent it to them. She said she could not pull my window sticker, but that it was probably just something on their end...

Wow... and I thought I was doing good for a minute.... go Ford!
For what it's worth with the FordPass App - I switched vehicles to the 2013 Expedition within the App, and then went back to the 2022 and the "Activate" button disappeared. Although I did receive an email overnight the truck was built yesterday, so with the truck being built yesterday and the button appearing yesterday in the FordPass App, there must be something to @Phoenixfla 's theory.

Neither the app or the website is still allowing me to re-enter my VIN. My truck still isn’t built yet (for an unknown reason) but when I got my VIN back in August the app immediately took my VIN… so at one point the app and the VIN were ok. Now it’s not…

So when you say you switched vehicles, did you actually remove the vehicle from the app/your account and then add it back?

I have three vehicles loaded in the app. At the top center you can switch between them. I did not remove it from the App.

Have you tried adding it to your Ford.com Account > Vehicle Dashboard. It is the same log in as the FordPass App.

I think I updated my build date incorrectly... I used the date inside the box at the bottom of the Window Sticker... that can't be right.
Once it moved to "In Production", and then subsequently "Sent to Plant" on 9/13... no way it's built same day.
Some trucks have a scheduled build week like mine of (9/20), and are sent to plant a week prior (9/13) and are built 5 to 7 days later. This puts the build date within the original "Scheduled for Production" week window.

so,, bottom line,,? my OCD demands I correct my entry in the spreadsheet.

Only way to know your build day is to get it from the dealer. Then you can just resubmit the Build date form.

I'll hit him up later to see what the VVR says.
now that I restored my trucks info,,, I'm just gonna let it ride, my truck is pretty plain jane, so it shouldn't have any extraordinary delays.

BTW .. Awesome job wrangling all this data, thanks for all your effort.

Just a couple of observations…

It looks like the tailgate step might be the most popular option?

It seems that the vast majority of race red trucks are XL and XLT’s. Of the 9 remaining race red trucks on the sheet, 8 are XL’s or XLT’s. I wonder if this is a result of the way things are batched, scheduled and built, or if those of us who like the race red are just more likely to be XL or XLT’s.

I think the tailgate is included in a majority of the packages one would pick which is why it might be most popular. I was actually surprised at how popular the wheel well liners are.

The Tailgate Step is just fricking awesome.

Rapid red not available on XL (I don't think XLT either) so Race is the only red option. Race Red I don't believe is available in Limited or Platinum, so I think Lariat is the only trim that offers both reds.
