My window sticker still says 12/9 and I haven't got the your-truck-is-built email (hope it is not waiting the the Speedway for chips - I will ask the dealer to look at VVT Monday) so I'm not so sure how well anything bodes. Do you really think they are working Saturdays and especially Sundays?
I wasn't planning on an email. Never got one one when it went from "scheduled for production" to "in production". Found that out myself by checking the tracker every day. Ford isn't the greatest at notification or anything else that they do online. Note the tracker being down yet again this weekend.
As far as unfinished trucks at the speedway there was a TV news story several weeks ago showing that all trucks had been removed. https://www.msn.com/en-us/autos/news...way/vi-AAOKZ0S
I don't know their work week. All I know is that the window sticker bottom date did indeed change today. I checked it about 6:45 last night and it was still 12/4. Which is the day after invoice date. At 8:30 this morning it had been changed to today's date. Below is the latest from Blue Oval forums regarding build and commodity availability. I see no mention of computer chips. The only mentions I've seen for that don't seem to be reliable sources. As always, I guess we know for sure when the dealer calls and says the truck has arrived.

Have you tried the Mach E site? The Submit button for tracking has been down and probably isn't coming back. But the Window Sticker button has worked for some. It's how I found the date at the bottom of mine had changed.

Yes, they work Saturday and Sunday. My truck is scheduled for tomorrow. I expect mine to be built tomorrow but not finished as it will still have to go to GFX for my options.

Today I have been unable to get an updated status on mine via the Ford Vehicle Order Tracking Homepage.
I can get to the page, put my Order # and VIN in, but page does not go anywhere when I press Accept & Track.
Has me wondering if they are doing updates to the system.
BTW, My dealer told me yesterday that although they showed my truck going to production on Thursday, 12/09, there is a chance the truck is already built. It's likely that a backlog in updating status changes online is going on. I'll take that in a heartbeat. But won't hold my breath, however...

The tracker goes down quite often. I wouldn't lose any sleep over it. Did the dealer tell you it was actually going to be built that day or did they use the term "in production"? In production means that the information has been sent to the plant and it will be scheduled for build. It doesn't actually mean it's on the line being built at that moment. My truck has had the in production status for a week but the date on the sticker was changed to today's date since I checked last evening. That leads me to believe that it may finally start down the production line. But as you know, the tracker is down yet again so here we all sit wondering where we are in the process.
jim58 and I have been keeping tabs as we think our trucks might go through the line in close proximity.

There were at least 2 guys on the tremor forum that actually saw their VVR and it stated on hold for a chip, plus a few others that were told by dealer or Ford Marketing.
I think they were all from the build week of 11/26 except for one that had an 11/24 build day, so it seems it was just a short term issue.

You'll forgive me if I don't find dealers to generally be that reliable of a source.

My VVR shows chip hold and the 800 number also confirmed. I'm not really sure that is accurate. My VVR has not updated since last Wednesday. I'm one if those guys over on the Tremor forum. There are a a few of us in this holding pattern. I'm heading to my dealer today for an update.
Ford tracker doesn't work at all. But I'll call my dealer on monday and get them to give me the train car information.
My delivery ETA says 12/26. But I don't think it will take 15 days to go from Kentucky to South Carolina
Dont bet on it. They dont deliver one truck at a time. I think mine was held up until my dealer had a full load. I was 8 hours away from the plant but it took 18 days to get here. They may mix dealer deliveries butprobably not if they dont have to. Im sure they wont deliver one at a time.

They ship thousands of trucks, i think they have a pretty good idea on when it will get there hence the ETA they give you. Mine took 12 days total to get to Philly, it sat in the rail yard for 6 of those days after it got off the train, it was 35 miles from the dealership at that point. Most of the other trucks going to that dealer had a similar wait once they got off the rail car, that's all figured into the ETA they calculate.
There's never an opportune time for it to be down but I'm expecting it to be built this weekend. I was able to pull the window sticker on the Mach E site and see that the date at the very bottom has been changed from 12/4 to today's date. I think that bodes well.
I just checked my sticker for the 5th time today and it just changed to today’s date. So maybe our trucks really are chasing each other down the assembly line. Mine still has to go across the street.

Maybe it will take that long, but I doubt it.
The train depot around here, is only 15 minutes from my dealer. So they said once it's there, they pick them up instantly. They don't wait until there's 10 of them sitting there. They run right down and grab them.
