Phoenixfl - I did get the rail car number and also confirmed that ramp code CH27 is Mira Loma, CA.

I went on CXS website to track and instructions say to set up a user id and pin. Is this what others have done? I don't want to mess it up for others.Shipped Rail - Railcar # TTGX982071 (CSX Transportation )

Thanks!

Received a call today. My truck is in and being prepped for pick up tomorrow. According to the Ford tracker it's in transit. There's hope Ford is getting a handle on production. Thank you, Phoenixfla for the spreadsheet, forum, and updates. We'll see how the inspection goes tomorrow.

none of set up accounts, you
need to call the number for CSX it will let you track it. Look up @Phoenixfla post he has detailed instructions on tracking by phone.

I’ll try to type it out

call 800-235-2352
say location
then type in 81814192
then it will say car number type 982071

it will then tell you location of the rail car

Yes, I finally remembered that - thank you!
I was able to use the automated system - Union Pacific yard in North Platte, NE since 1:30AM, 9-20. About 950 miles in 5 days, heading to Mira Loma, CA.
Thanks again, Phoenixfla!!

Been at the plant since the 20th of August and production day the 30th. Still no updates from Ford or Dealer. Other trucks with same option still being released, shipped, and delivered. I’m Baffled

Just sharing my experience, which was exceedingly poor. I wouldn't want people mistakenly entering into an agreement to buy a truck that may be held up way beyond expectations with no communication as to why or how to address it. Ford deserves some bashing IMO, and damn straight I would have switched brands, they are just brands, they all make a decent truck.

I DEFINITELY feel slighted by Ford over this and if your truck was taking 2-3times as long as similar trucks to build, you might feel the same. Just pointing out that not everybody has enjoyed the ordering process.

I am enjoying my new truck, it is VERY nice. Best of luck to everybody waiting.

I hear ya loud and clear brother. Everyone has their expectations and I think it is good for folks to have an occasional reminder that the whole situation and system is far more complex than we'd like. Personally, I was hoping my order would take longer, and it still may. But each month that goes by for me gets me even closer to full payoff on my F150. There is also the part of me that is spoiled by the Amazon Prime instant gratification of today's world that wants my new truck asap, hahaha.
That being said, I also knew that ordering was the only way for me to get a good price on a new truck. If I was hard pressed or had already sold my truck, my expectations may certainly be at the other end of the spectrum.

Enjoy that new truck, its a beaut!

I could suggest a theory. They are out of Retractable Tonneau covers. It just came up as no availability for future orders, which itself does not mean they are currently out, but the tonneau covers seems to frequently hold up the release of the truck.

I don't know if there is much you can do. If your dealer is on the ball, they can check with their regional manager to see what the holdup is. Perhaps (if this is the case) they can ship the Tonneau to your dealer for installation when its available.

That's my theory anyway.

Edited to add - as I think you were pointing out, several trucks with the same Tonneau were shipped after yours, so that blows my theory.

I spoke with Truck Hero (Bedrug) about my order being at 8 weeks, and now being told end of October. He said they're falling victim of the labor shortage. Whole company is suffering. A Retrax of another name is what's going on the trucks. All from Truck Hero.

I'm almost at 7 weeks since ordering my BedRug. To be fair, I ordered it through Tonneau Cover's World, however, they just send orders straight to BedRug so it really didn't matter who I ordered it through... After a few emails pushing my estimated delivery time back, I called BedRug also. A nice lady answered pretty quickly, and when I asked about my order through the other company, she asked me which model number I ordered. She looked it up and told me that current there were only 470 ish of those on order, so they were waiting until there was more before they started making that model... She said they schedule them every 2 weeks and simply make the biggest bulk orders that they have... so I don't know when I will get my BedRug. I did notice a company on Amazon listed 2 that were available for immediate delivery via Amazon prime, but it was full price and I only paid $350 through TCW... so I'll keep that order in and save the money, but I hope it comes soon...

Saying that, my Bakflip MX4 and Bakbox shipped the day after my order, and are also listed under "Truck Hero."

I may reach back out to them again. The last time they told me that their shipping company was held for ransom. Honestly I don’t know if they’re using this as an excuse or it truly happened. It today’s world nothing would shock me. Thanks again

Am I understanding correctly that the "no availability" list in the Super Duty production notes for this week pertains to new orders only? My order, which has been confirmed by Ford but not scheduled yet, has a couple options that appear on that list.
