2022 Tracking Spreadsheet
You're welcome!
Took delivery today.. Thank You Pheonixfla for all your work.
Here is my timeline for a 350 XLT with 7.3L, 4.30 gears and my favorite option was the carpet delete... really nothing fancy.. well the heated seats will be nice plowing snow..
Ordered 7/13
Sent to plant 8/19
Built 8/27
Shipped 8/29
Arrived very close to rail yard 9/5
Delivered middle of the night last night to dealer. My brother sent me a pic at 7:30 this morning
Delivered to me 9/24
Things I learned.. I had 3 different delivery windows. This truck sat 1 hour south for almost 3 weeks. I pestered the dealer about the VVR dates changing as well as the spreadsheet dates, which were the same. Wednesday I had a delivery of 10/5 and started sending emails and it magically showed up last night. If your truck is stagnant on a VVR at a delivery yard make noise. Convoy does not necessarily mean it is coming via truck.
I am very grateful to get my truck in about 10 weeks. If you order a truck seriously think about the items that cause a delay in manufacturing due to shortages.
Wow, that is great detective work. I'm going to put the name of the transport company on the Ramp Codes spreadsheet, but not their phone number. I don't imagine they want a ton of calls.
If someone is that interested in calling they can Google the phone number. That seem reasonable?

Yes, it would be great if various builds could provide payload stickers. Payload seems to be a big mystery. Having actual builds/payloads would be a great addition to the information being provided. Thanks!
@fyrebronc Something was wrong with your VIN or Order Number, please check them and resubmit.
I think that deserves its own thread. I'd be curious to see those too.
Things seem to be moving right along. Production Week of 9/20. Built on 9/23. Built email received 9/24. Shipped email received 9/25. Estimated 11 days to Maryland. Is this about the norm. I know some have sat in the awaiting shipping stage longer and some in production stage longer.

You did not have any of the options that can add a few days after produced (bedliner, tonneau, possibly a few others) so it probably went right to a rail car for loading.
Post a few photos when it arrives, sure looks fancy.
Many would disagree, but I think things are going pretty well. The increase in Retail orders has caused some commodity problems, but Ford has done a good job of building what they have components for.
I would NOT want to see a return to purgatory, so to their credit, they are completing all the trucks they begin.
Adaptive Steering still a huge issue in anything but a King Ranch. No word if they have plenty of them left or if those too will run out.
Ford was one of the first to experience the chip crunch, but now some others (Toyota, Honda) are also, and perhaps Ford is ahead of the curve in dealing with these issues.
Getting mixed rumors of when '22 orders will stop, but I can't see that happening for quite a while. My guess is if they DO decide to introduce the new SD as a 23, they will stretch out the 22 production year a bit long to give themselves more time.
