You don't see it, but I do.......... Those are beautiful springs... Professional job done at a Heavy duty Truck Shop..... I did that to all of my 1 ton service trucks that traveled loaded 100% of the time (Welder, Air compressor, cutting rig, tools, material).... The previous owner knew how to set up a truck for work..... Not ride... LOL
Is there a goose neck hitch in the bed?

I think this was done to the suspension when the USAF owned it
mine is a 250 AP GVW 8900 on the door sticker.... ..I have a slide in camper in the bed and it don't even squat
the camper is a 1976 15' Huntsman fully self contained, it's a Heavy SOB too
that is a Dana 50 TTB front axle. diesels never got the 44, D-50 only on diesels, supercab, and crew cab.
front gear ratio is one off from rear, probably 3.54. the front is always 1 off.
if you are going far enough into the axle to replace the ball joints, do your self a favor and get all 3 front axle universals too.

I will do that. I can get those through work. Fun part is I need to replace the locker on the drivers side. The engagement *** is pretty loose and a little sunk and it does not audibly click like the passengers side. I have really never delved into how lockers work so I don't know the first thing about fixing them
