Tuning out the wife, I’m bad for that. Luckily we have a running joke that saves my ****.
Backstory short version. Neighbour at the lake has a 20yr old son. Son went to stay in their camper one weekend with other friends (parents not there), they crammed a 24 case of beer in the freezer which blocked the cooling fins at the back and the door didn’t close which burnt the freezer out. New fridge needed. As she was giving him shyte, the 20yr old looked her dead in the eye and said “um, are we done here? Dylan’s waiting outside”
So ya, she speaks, I tune out and give her the are we done here, Dylan’s waiting. We both laugh and move on. Hopefully the running joke keeps going for a long time.

I hear AdirondEx gave you the keys to his emoji kingdom. I’m pretty sure you’re not allowed to just drop by anytime but make sure you clean the areas you can’t see before you leave 😉
