Y'll younger folks need to relax---I'm bumping against 70 and dayum has it been a thrilling ride.
I don't help myself by keeping with my "younger" girlfriend--she's a whopping 41 just this past May, she LOVES she's the young hottie----so that simultaneously keeps me young and wears me the F out---in the best of ways. She's a ton of fun, loves doing "guy things" like learning to change her own oil, swap out a flat tire and even accompany me to "help" install windshields in big trucks. (She's great with window cleaner FWIW, ya know wimme's work ) Plus she loves hearing about that part of my life long, long, long before she was even born.
Someone's sudden passing especially when they're younger than us does have us pausing just at bit, we wonder how far along our own countdown clock has left.

Morning zoo. Yard full of customers and a truck to be unloaded. Friday's are usually the busiest day. We aren't open on Saturday and the customers need their jobs for Fridays and Saturdays. Out of the yard and into the street. Not complaining, a good problem to have.

The wifes 10 years younger than my 64... at this point the major result is not retiring with medical bennies so at least one of us has to keep working until shes 65.... She seems to think its me.... if that keeps me young I guess its ok...

My wife talks so much that I do actually tune her out. So when she prompts me with a question, I have to rewind the conversation enough to make it sound like I was actually listening.
