I read an article as to another possibility of why live PD got pulled from the air. A Couple months ago a black man on his way from a poker game had his high beams on. Live PD with Police attempted a stop but the driver took off leading them on a 22mon chase. They caught him and he was tasered 4 times and ended up dying. AE channel said that the footage they had was accidentally deleted when the authorities asked for it. In the wake of George Floyd and that, they had to pull the show so there’s a little more to it than just camera crews safety. I’m sure it will be back on. If I was a cop, I’d want every move I made on tape to cover my ****.

The footage they had of that incident was not during a live show, it was taken during their off time. Dan Abrams (the host) himself said he never saw it. It was destroyed along with a bunch of other footage that they regularly do.
The cops have it all on their body cams. Abrams, although not part of the decision making, agrees that the video might have had something to do with their decision but its basically pressure on A&E and its partner corporations that made the decision. A bunch of PC BS.
It’s all actors. It was a comedy skit from some weird InAPPropriate Movie. From the thumbs up and downs on YouTube, it seams hit and miss for who thought it was funny. I’m pretty sure if guys did that in real life, they’d get stomped into oblivion.
One of the funniest racial comedy skits I have ever seen is by Dave Chappell. It’s called the Black White Supremacist Clayton Bigsby. Clayton is a blind black guy that is a leader in the KKK. Nobody has told him he is black. Rolling on the floor laughing watching that.
