Yes they are! I was supposed to go for vacation next week, but it's getting so bad I cancelled. This year it's not much fun to do anything. But staying healthy at home is just fine by me!!

The parking lot and playground are closed (caution tape around it), but not the whole park. They have been going every few days, sometimes there are people walking, or some using the other hoops.
Anyway, he texts me saying he needs to be picked up now. I get there and all the kids are sitting on the corner, outside the park with masks on, he tells me the cops came, told them they have to have masks on and that they cant play basketball ball cause the park is closed (lie). They were told they wouldn't fine them but do fine repeat offenders. Im sure someone called, but these are kids doing nothing but having having fun and recreating amongst themselves.
There was a family in Ontario that got around an $800 fine because the father took his kids roller blading in an empty parking lot. No warning. That was probably in mid April or so.

Where I live. The city closed all parks, basketball courts, skate parks etc. They have since reopened but while they were closed, there were kids in the skate park by my house and no cops ever went in to make them leave. I was actually surprised that they didn’t.

An American couple visiting Canada got a $1000 fine the other day for not quarantining for 14 days after entry. They stopped to do shopping before they went to where they were supposed to be going and it cost them. They are lucky they didn’t get a $5000 fine.

There is an increase. However they are testing 5x the number of people they were in April. Many people are just going to get tested for no reason as evidenced by my neighbor’s dumb daughter and her dumb friends doing it. Weird, they are reporting more positive results for 18-35 yos. Gee I wonder why. This is all just nuts.
You can smell a fart through underwear and jeans; what is a homemade mask going to do? 500 million of these viruses fit on head of a pin and I see people post angrily about stopping the spread - think about what you are saying. Oh man where’s that Toradol!

DollyWood facemasks ages 3 up. Waterparks no face mask.
Dining no facemask. Theater facemask. Rollercoaster no mask. It's F'd. Not worth even going. It's a good substitute for Disney being close by. 2.5 hr drive.

Bristol Motor Speedway is 15 min from us, but Covid and all that other crap I'm not getting into ruined that. Stay home, go fishing its cool

RVs are selling like hot U cakes here because of the travel restrictions. A few dealers went on the news and said their sales are up 500% compared to the last 5 individual years. That’s crazy especially with the Canadian dollar being so low compared to the US. That really affects the price we pay for RVs or what RV brands the dealers bring in.

If we had a mask order, I’m the kind of guy that would just shrug and wear it if I had to in a store. I feel sorry for the minimum wage workers in the hospitality industry here. They have to wear a mask for their entire shift. I don’t think they signed up for that 😂

Told ya man Disney campground - mask for everything. Oh and that’ll be $700 to stay. Good lord, I’ll just stay home with the Thunderbird wine! Btw I can’t really drink anymore - if something were to happen with kids and I was impaired; scares the crap outta me.

???? Those are the weirdest mask rules. WTF. 🤷‍♂️ I feel the same, if there are too many restrictions, I’m not going. I’ll just kick back at home and get make some pages stick together.

Oh crap. This brings back shut down memories. It wasn’t too long after the Toradol talk. lol I see your point. Like I said, I haven’t been paying attention because it starts to **** a guy off one way or another. I even quit watching the news after I saw a video of a small “occupation” at Toronto’s city hall. I’ll just live happily in ignorance 😂

That is part of my frustration with this incident, beaches are open, parks are open(except playground equipment), skate parks are open. This same group of kids go to the beach together, no masks no problem, drive by the skate parks and see large groups of kids usually huddled together on their phones, no masks no problems, but someone that day decided that these kids shooting hoops was too scary and warranted a visit from the cops. There is no mask requirement while recreating outdoors. Probably a good thing that I wasn't there when PD came, I would have questioned much of their reasoning.

I'm with you. My opinion only. Not bashing Gov or anything....no masks period . It doesn't f'n work. It doesn't. Covid dude with mask takes his mask off in car. Coughs in hand. Gets out of car pumps gas. Next dude comes by pumps gas. Picks nose. Gets covid.

In the meantime masks at Disneyland. WTF!!!!

The only reason.....ONLY REASON I wear a mask is because my wife would raise hell and I'm not coming back home and lie about it if I didn't.

I F'N HATE MASKS!!!!

I only wear one when I have to, and thats when going into a store. Step outside its off. I am much more open to just keeping my distance and washing my hands. I think they push the masks because they realized that its just too hard for people to stay away from each other. I have no problem staying away from others, and prefer that method over the mask.

I saw a video the other day on reddit where a guy and girl where doing very foul things 😬 to clothing in a Walmart dressing room and then putting the clothes back on the rack. Let’s just say, I am never trying anything on again and for sure never wearing anything until I wash it 30 times. The internet and the one up each other mentalities of social media have ruined society. Ugh. Just like those people opening containers of ice cream, licking it and putting it back on the grocery store shelf. Can’t these people just go back to eating tide pods? I liked that better. 😂 Hurt yourself moron.

I like the social distancing measures. I always hated people coming up and standing right beside me while I’m shopping. Now, it’s great. I threw a shopping cart at a guy in a Walmart once. He kept bumping into me with his shopping cart even after I repeatedly told him to stop. I wasn’t in the way, he hit my knee, I grabbed the cart, picked it up over my head, he ran, I threw it, he fell, I laughed, he cried, I left. Good times.

Edit. I was taking haladrol at the time. That might of had something to do with it. Scags and the steroid comment earlier. I didn’t miss it. 😂

I don't like a mask either, but I wear it. It's not for me, it's for everyone else. Since asymptomatic people can spread this, I may have it and not realize it. I don't go out much anyhow. Today was Home Depot to pick up some landscape edging. The prior owners of my house put in the metal edging and there are gaps in it. Like they ran out of edging and decided to just leave gaps. Today that all got fixed while I have the rock gardens torn up.

I processed about 60 gallons of rock through the trommel tonight (twelve five gallon buckets). I need to dig up rock/dirt from the next section and get new landscape fabric down.
