Man what an evening of posts......I'll start with tjc. First I want to give my condolences. Myself and all of us here are sorry for your loss. We've all lived long enough to see loved ones and friends pass away. And it hurts. No one except you understands and feels that pain.
My father was 70, my mother 91. When they passed, people would say "I know how you feel". No you don't know how I feel, they weren't your parents.
So I'm not going to insult your time of honoring your father by saying...I know how you feel. Because I don’t. All I can offer is we are all sorry you are going through this.
You know this thread is the Nonsense thread. But you know what it really is? It's our daily life thread. And there is nothing nonsense about our bond that we have for each other and FTE.
We can come here and discuss anything, ask advice about anything, trust anything that we tell each other about...."You should take this route". Why do we do that? Because there's a brotherhood here, formed out of Broncos thread, and reinforced even more here in Teddy's thread. And I speak for all of us, anytime you want to talk about your father, a time when you're feeling down or a happy memory. We'll be here.

on the way to the range this am with a friend who is also police officer, we stopped for a cup of coffee. we was met by a scruffy looking feller and his "personal dispute mediator" who felt that since we were well off and the scruffy looking feller had nothing we should share half of what we had with them.


so we offered to start by giving them half our ammo.... out of the front of our guns.
for some strange reason they decided they did not want us to share anymore and ran off.

i don't know what this world is coming to, these people can not even make up their mind on what they want!!
