Brisket acquired. Marinating commences tomorrow, hopefully sometime while I'm supposed to be working. It will go on the smoker around 3 pm Friday for consumption around 3 pm Saturday. Gonna smoke some garlic at the same time. Low and slow with no excitement, but lots of pleasant smells.
Briskets aren’t a big thing up here and I dont know why. They look delicious. I’ve done a few prime ribs, both bone in and out, and I over cooked them all by about 10 degrees. I’m going to have to try a brisket one of these days. That and beef ribs. Haven’t done them either.
Looks like a rough night in the tech dept.
So, Teddy, can I put a 220 outlet in the bed of my truck for 1000lb. Sisters coochie pleasurer?
Don't forget about the lift gate either. You'll need that.
Is everybody taking Friday off for the 4th? 3 day weekend for us. We've e-mailed everybody, told everyone that's called and come in for the last 2 weeks, posted signs on every door, and I'll still get a few calls on Friday asking where we're at, why are we closed. Because it's July 4th holiday Dipstick!

Oh Ok. So we just can’t leave the 4th of July talk on the back burner for one day so us Canucks can celebrate? 😂 Fine Bowtie
I read an interesting fact about fire work related injuries. Each year, approx 10,000 people will go to ERs around the US for treatment due to firework related accidents on July 3-6th. 36% of those are children. Let’s remember to have a safe weekend 👍 Depending on your age and skill set, you may require more than 2 fingers to type on your keyboard. 😆 🐓 🐓
I have this multi purpose mastercraft ladder. It is a heavy bugger but works great. I think it’s pretty similar to the little giant. Slides together to store shorter and multiple locking angles.

Hope you had a great Canada Day. Are fireworks legal up there? It's hit or miss here as far as what's legal or not. You can't buy the good stuff in Florida. It's been my experience that most of the time the cops don't bother with enforcing it. My son-in-law brought back a crap-ton of the good stuff from Alabama a couple of weeks ago. They only live a couple of miles from us so they are gonna come pick us up for the festivities so neither one of our cars is in the vicinity in case of errant rockets or the crap that falls to earth from exploding objects. Ought to be a blast (literally)

We can buy the good stuff in Tampa area. They canceled the fireworks in our town so we will have our own. The nonsense related to this is getting out of hand.

They're probably made in the same factory. Who knows? I also bought a rolling scaffold with adjustable uprights because we are going to paint our house this year. We've already done our bedroom and bath and it came in really handy to cut in around the ceiling. Saved a ton of ladder climbing and moving. I'm getting a case of the azz about painting so I don't know if Wifey and I will finish it or hire it out. Either way, I got a cool scaffold out of the deal.

They are legal but we can’t get the industrial grade stuff. The fireworks on the island in the city park were cancelled this year due to covid but as I type this right now, I see some people setting some off in the field across from me. It’s not dark enough yet so they are just wasting money.
Fun fact. The city park here is almost 3 times the size of Central Park in NY. It’s one of the largest inner city parks in North America.
