Speaking of trash pandas had some company this morning. Went to get something to get it out and thought the second one left. Nope. When it's sibling got stuck it crawled under and got stuck with it. Not a fan but let them leave under their own power this time.
Ha! I've been having trouble with these guys myself! They climb my bird feeder pole, bend it over & clean out the seed. I fixed it by putting grease on the pole (it worked for my ex girlfriend) now they can't get to it.
My lug nuts are tore up. I have Platinum rims and Limited rims so I just saved one set of nuts for when it starts to bug me. I bought the platinum rims and Michelin’s for $1200. I couldn’t pass that deal up. That’s 1200 cad so about $75 usd. Lol I run studded duratracs in the winter cause man, lots of ice up north. Ice roads or iced over highway. They only use sand up there so the highways are go 45mph or get studded tires.

I happened to find a thread that you had posted in, where H20camper shared the PDF from the manual. Seeing that was helpful. The videos I watched didn't give me a whole lot of confidence as they all looked to be winging it, figuring it out as they went
I went OEM, $128 shipped. Ordered online from a dealership in Ann Arbor MI. They shipped it out fast.

This morning was the first time that I've seen a raccoon out here. No sign of them around before and no crap. I bought a bag of corn instead of bird feed by mistake and I assume that is what drew them in. I usually fill the feeders before I go to bed but I'll stop that practice and see what happens.

Damn those things aren’t cheap. I think I paid about the same but in CAD. The service writer gave them to me for “cost” 🙄
Are you going to do the paint protection film on them now like I did or just chalk it up to a fluke incident? I drive gravel, lots of gravel, so hopefully it helps.

When searching info on how to replace the lights I found some older threads saying they cost about $80, so they must have gone up in price. I think MSRP for the ones with the spot light is around $170. The PPF is a good idea but I'm just going to leave them as is. I would rather spend the $ on PPF for other areas first.....if that will ever happen. I managed to buy the truck but unfortunately don't have a bunch of funds to throw at it.

I don’t think you’ll have a problem not covering the lights unless you drive a lot of gravel. If I break one again, if it’s not winter, I’ll do the repair myself.
Trucks all clean. Originally I just went to spray the bugs off...... that escalated quickly. Wipe down interior, vacuum, carpet clean the drivers and passengers side floor boards, clean all interior glass, scrub the POS weathertech matts. I also tried some weird aerosol wax stuff on the satin chrome pieces. Stuff didn’t work too well but I don’t care, truck will be full of big guts again on Friday.

Had some company last night myself, So me and Momma go to bed around 10:30 last night. Almost sleeping and get the notification something set off the camera. Grabbed my phone and pulled up the video and I'm like wtf is going on?
I'm like who is this? I'm watching this dude casing my place out. Now he's behind the camp shining the flashlight.

In other news, My son and his wife are the proud new parents of a 9lb 9oz 20" long baby boy. Their first, our 4th grandchild. Our daughter has 2 boys and a girl. He was born about 7:45 tonight. Mom & baby are doing fine. Can't go up therre and see him though. Damned Covid bs. Told my son I would see him in the AM. LOL.... I'll be opening and closing for the next few days now, but worth it.
He goes down past the garage and by the fire pit checking out the front and come back towards the ront door.
I open the door and startle him while standing there in my underwear holding my shotgun. The old lady was standing behind me digging her nails in me. WTF He starts walking toward me I slide the pump forward putting a slug in the chamber. He hears it and stops I ask Can I help you?
He says he's staying at the campgrounds up river from me and looking for another camp, I tell him what F'N camp you looking for? He says I'm lost where's the campground and mumbles something about boy scouts and he's lost. He asked which way is the campground I tell him that way.
Now he starts pointing in different directions playing stupid. I admit I was scared in the beginning but now I'm pissed, I yelled at him, turn around and leave the same way you got here! He says this way, or this way? I said get the F off my property now as_hole. Pretty intense situation.
Some of you guys are probably a lot tougher than me but I was no slouch in the day and never backed down to anyone but last night was pretty intense. I held and pointed a gun on a human for the first time in my life. Hopefully I scared him more than he scared me. Parking truck outside tonight to let creep know I here. World is taking a big *****.
