I'm confused... at first we were told a high percentage of covid cases COULD be fatal , and now it seems we have FAR more cases
of covid daily but LESS people are dying ,so , is it a bad thing to test positive but NOT showing symtoms or ill effects OR is it a good
thing that having it it not as bad as first thought?
The EX-SPURTS need to get "A" story straight and stick with it.

I wonder if the Hospitals are not getting better at how they handle the threats, and have better procedures in place now than earlier in the pandemic?

In our fair city most of the new cases are 18-34 year olds who have a much lower risk from the virus. Now if they visited mom and dad or other older folks that will show up soon.

Our numbers are currently dropping per day, which means some of those people at some point stopped socializing. Maybe just maybe we can get a handle on it again.

Now we have mask ****'s -- People recording and ratting out people who do not wear masks-- Personally I dislike wearing a mask-- but every establishment has the right to say if you come in here you need one. If you don't like the mask don't wear one. That's your choice. You can voice your choice by not going into a particular store.

i find it interesting that the 'guilt card ' is played so much, we're almost at the point of NO personal choice.
if you do have common sense and self awareness you are not following the ex- spurts. who , in my opinion
have been wrong pretty much the whole scamdemic. If people would just hear the ex-spurts words over and over
' we really don't know ' and that is a FACT!

The mask thing isn’t hard in many cases. It you are around other people especially inside you should wear a mask. If in a crowd outside, wear a mask. In a car with non household, wear a mask etc. There is very good evidence this reduces transmission to low levels.

At home, away from other folk or outside don’t need a mask. The tough one would be if working with people even outside in close proximity in this heat makes a mask a big problem.

My big thing is what masks have they studied if they really did. Or is it just a combination of folks wanting to something even if it really has little or no effect and folks wanting to sell masks. And I thought there was a mask shortage. Anyway the masks I have seen worn I have no confidence in protecting anyone from Covid. So I just stay away from folks. I don't wear a mask and hope it keeps folks away from me.

Really makes no difference really as the AG ruled that folks cannot be arrested, ticketed, or fined for not wearing a mask.

Jack, the WHO and CDC published information two days ago about relative effectiveness of different types of masks. All help to some degree and almost none are perfect. User fitting and how worn factor in too. If masks don’t work why have medical personnel worn them for decades.

From my point of view the relating wearing a mask to freedom when around others in close proximity is BS. We as society and communities have imposed restrictions to limit the spread of disease for well over 100 years and our world didn’t come to an end. I read a reprint of an 100 year old article from the small town newspaper in my home community a few weeks ago. People were quarantined in their home unable to leave to prevent the spread of scarlet fever. Talk about limiting freedom! In another article a community in Colorado had no Spanish Flu cases because they wouldn’t allow anyone from outside the community to stop or come to the town. To equate wearing a mask with complete lockdown in your home under penalty of arrest or total exclusion as if your freedoms are totally being taken away is childish.

This is a terrible disease. Do we know how it will end? No! Do we need to be vigilant about our freedom? Of course. I’m more scared of the White House or congress using it as an excuse to limit elections or other things than wearing a mask when I go to Target or Walmart.
