Thanks for the TGIF reminder Tim - with all these Saturdays I'm experiencing, it is sometimes hard to remember which Saturday I'm supposed to put the garbage out for the garbage truck on.

Which Saturday is it........ Hummmm, Oh yes, it is Saturday #5
Way to rub it in retired guys.... Maybe someday I'll get there. Just got to keep plugging away I guess. Although yesterday I did interview for a job so I guess I'm not done yet.
In the meantime next week is conference week in Bend. We're going over a few days early and plan on touring the Host Factory Monday or Tuesday for kicks and a semi attempt to show the other half what some truck campers can be like. Unfortunately based on my tax return I just picked up, it will be a while before I can fork over those kind of dollars.

Just sell your body from the street corners....... You'll have plenty of money....
Good afternoon Oregon and everyone everywhere else. Mixed weather today. Just about the time I think I should go try to mow the front lawn, we get another rain shower. Winds are hitting 22 mph.
We have reservations for Detroit Lake State Recreation Area, arriving 04-21 and departing 04-25 for home. Detroit Lake water level has spiked dramatically in the last few days so....
We take the pickup and the old camper over to Salem on Wednesday, then we go back over on Thursday and take delivery of the new camper. We'll bring it home and spend Friday and Saturday getting things set up. and giving fussy Warden time to load and unload and rearrange the new camper a dozen times.
Sunday, (Easter), we'll take off for Detroit Lake. We'll spend 4 nights and 5 days doing a shake down cruise with the new camper and with the boat. I can just imagine the amount of fodder and debris on the Lake. Hoping the most of it will have settled in down toward the dam booms.

Are you taking the trailer to Bend and staying in a camp ground over there?
I thought that Host Mammoth, with center front head, fireplace & TV was quite a camper, but the Warden wouldn't let me buy an F450 or F550 and then spend another $62K on the camper...But, it is about as close to a 5th wheel loaded in the back of a pickup as anything I've seen.
Where you trying to make a move to with a job interview? Up the line in the office or a whole new game?
We were going to take the trailer as that's usually our MO but where we were going to stay was a no go so we are motel-ing it this trip. I'd much rather be in the RV but such is life.
I don't have the rig for the Host either but it's fun to look and it's something to do. Thought it would also be interesting to see how they are made. I had a dually for 15 years and don't really miss it. Now if I win the lotto...all bets are off.
Have a good maiden voyage. That camper is going to awesome. And you still might need a new truck anyway.
Interview was for a new gig some place else. Similar line of work but different role. Big step up in responsibility. Was told I'd be brought back for round 2 so well see. No call yet however.
