I've got a friend in SD. She had some video driving home in a blizzard a couple days ago. Crazy. While I like extreme weather... I might take a pass on that.
Way back in 89 we had some extended cold with highs in the teens for a couple weeks, snow drifts...the works. We were shut down as everything froze. Was all you could do to keep pipes from freezing. Guess that was pretty tame... lol In 08 we has a couple feet of snow. Not real cold (in the 20's) and that was a fun!

Mine is at 242,000 Evan, but I have to ask. Did you get there quicker by driving in reverse or you just trying to back some of those miles down a bit?

Currently 37.8° in Seaside, interesting looking at weather underground map and the different temperatures reports from stations that are relatively close.
