George I actually tossed her list out and re did it, Moved some things around to make look like I did something and fixed a couple of obvious thing. She has no idea! LOL
Yep, I do it all the time. I call it the Happy Wife Shuffle.
95 and 81 are both horrible... mainly because their both main arteries out of the state when going north... i hated getting on both going back to ohio.. but hard to avoid them... hated going through towns even more...
Finally got back to working on the trailer again. Got the boards all cut for the box. Right now working on sealing the floor boards with Thompson Waterseal. Also painted the hardware blue. Wanted to do it black like all the other hardware. I ran outta black so used blue.
got the other side stained and sealed yesterday... today i worked on the side panels but had to pull the floor boards out from the bigger trailer (i been calling it my paint booth lol).. since i didnt have anywhere else to stick the floor panels before moving the wall boards i laid them on the smaller trailer for a bit.. got a glimps at how itll eventually look... nice to see the colors work well..
3 of the 4 side panels stained and sealed.. will flip them over tomorrow to do the other side... then ill have to work on the 4th panel..
also painted all the screws for the remaining brackets...
I should replace the deck on my small (6'x11') trailer. That pressure treated plywood didn't hold up to well.
pressure treated is nice.. but after a month of being outside the chemicals start to leach out... why they recomend painting or sealing it after its dried out... i didnt feel like waiting a month for that to happen especially with winter approaching.. so im using untreated.. and sealing it with watersealer..
