My metal roof it was stripped to the OSB, and replaced and that had been wet. Also did away with the sun light in the bathroom.
Still working of the bathroom, thought I only had 1 small soft spot, but I was wrong. So that set me back, but about ready to start going back together now. Once that's done itll be time to start working on a new building. I've never had a garage large enough to put a truck in and work on it with doors closed. I've got a bare concrete pad that is 20x12 right now. Planning on adding to that and build a 20x30 building. That should get me enough room to fully put any of my trucks in it. Also should give me enough room i can work a cherry picker in front of either of the 2 mud trucks if need be.
My one suggestion, which I don't have in my building, that I wish I did is height. Two post floor lifts only run a couple of grand, for the non-commercial use ones. If I had taller ceilings I would have a two post or four post lift in there, if I had the height. A couple of extra feet is all I would really need.
Lending Tree came out with new stats as to where people are moving to. Most Virginians go to NC, NC people want to move to SC, SC peoples to NC.FL to GA and GA to FL.
FL tops the list as to where most want to move to, followed by TX. A few years ago, most NY'ers were moving to NJ and most on NJ were moving to NY (more confusion) Now most from NY want to move to FL

A friend used scissor trusses when he built his garage, in case he wanted to put in a lift. Most 2 post lifts specify 8" of concrete where the posts go. Another guy I know got one of those "Backyard Buddies" 4 poster on wheels. So he could move it around in his barn. My garage has 10' ceilings, thought about modifying the roof with a scissor type of truss but then I'd have to find a place to put all the stuff that's stored up above..
