Well the rest of that day went well. So I won't complain too much about spending 5 hours at the DMV to renew my license.
Now it looks like we have rain in the forecast for today.

im waiting for the ac/heat people to finish putting in my new ac/heat unit... guy was here yesterday and said the condenser unit has had it.. so getting whole new unit for my room.. new air handler and new pump for outside...

Lost power for a couple of hours. But it's all back now. Basicly long enough to realize I didn't fill the gas can after the camping trip, and to hook the wires up to the generator and microwave to reheat left overs for dinner. 
Came back on half way through dinner, so all is good now. Still have the cables run in case it goes back out. I can at least keep things cold for an hour or so, or maybe get off my lazy butt and go to the store for gas.

Were still here... didnt get blown away... although the yard looks like the trees had a battle royal... tree branches and leaves all over the place... deck chairs took a walk off the deck.. even had one of the porch lights get knocked down... other than that were still here... just got power back after it was out for the last 13 hrs...

George, glad to hear you got your power back on. You as well Shawn. Hopefully that is the last storm of the year for us. Now for some fall weather, for the first time in years, and a day at home with out work. Should be a good day here.
