The handles come with the Ford Rev version. You can see from the first picture the seal is pretty good. Haven't given this one a good test yet but it actually looks a little better than the one on my F-150 and it was good. The F-150 version had 4 drain hoses. This one has 2.
Once my truck arrives I will immediately be installing a tonneau cover. I am leaning heavily to the tri-fold style, as I have had them on a couple other trucks and they work very well. On the Ford accessories site, there are a couple different 'soft' versions, one is pleather, the other is canvas. Then they have a hard folding version. Curious is anyone has any experience with any of them?
Post pictures if you got them!
Thanks!
The week I got my truck I installed a Retrax Powertrax Pro MX. It's low profile, slides by remote and locks at any position you leave it at.The MX is their Matt finish. Looks excellent. As for water penetration. I live in Texas, so when it rains, it pours. I have never had a wet bed so far. The only time I've had water penetrate is when I was standing on top of the cover pressure washing mud away, and even then at best I would say it was damp. I can also load up to 500lbs on the cover without damaging it. My two kids jump up and down on it and it looks just as good as the day I pulled it out of the box. Don't pay retail, all the tonneau cover places will wheel and deal with you. It may be the most expensive cover on the market, but you get what you pay for but don't pay retail. I paid right at $1750 delivered to my door. Oh and don't be fooled, it's wet in the picture, there is no glare when it's dry. I'll post another pic tomorrow if dry.

Reason: The bed is wet
I got the Ford Branded Bakflip model, the Rev through my dealership. It's a hard cover similar to the MX4. It's been excellent. No leaks at all and it has had 12" of wet snow piled on it in the morning with no sagging. It's simple to install and is easy to use. The rear cable for opening it actually has a handle hanging down for use with gloves.
What are the hinges made of on that Bakflip model?

Very nice! I went with the Retrax Pro MX but no power, wife blew a fuse when I told her I wanted a remote controlled one, well... she already knew the price of the 8ft model without power was $1950. Guess I can drool over the powered ones lol.
The 6-10in model is quite a bit cheaper, but I have a full 8ft box. Best price I've found for the 8fter was just under 2G.
i just installed a truck covers usa american roll cover on my short bed. Overall I am pleased with it.
Pros
Its rock solid and feels like it will out last truck.
Its butter smooth opening closing.
Love the quick release latch that allows you open cover without key after opening tailgate.
The pull strap is heavy duty seatbelt material inatead of cheap webbing.
They include a nice velcro patch under driver rail that pull strap sticks to keep it out of bed and near tail of truck.
There are no exposed locking mechansim to get hung and bent on cargo when opening and closing.
There 4 drains instead if 2.
I am comparing this to a roll in lock i had for 5 years. And i think it is a better product.
Cons
Its only 85% water resistent just had violent storm here. Dropped 3 inches of rain in hour, 60 mile an hour winds, storm caused 6 tornados in area, and truck was backed up steep drive way. I had water infiltration at tailgate and a little on corners. Cargo stayed dry most water ran down bed sides and tailgate and straight out bottom of bed. I expected on flat ground and normal rain infiltraion will be minimal but but definitly not water tight.
Also experienced on hard brake when hitting large bump with cover half open it poped over stop and opened all they way. Its never done this when fully closed.
Price 1625.00 to door from tonnuecovers.com
i would love to hear from someone with retrax how water tight is it compared to my experience.
Do you have the standard cover or the work version? I would love to see the work version installed and see how much room it really has and how much bed it takes up.

OK, so I gotta ask... where did you find a Retrax Powertrax PRo MX for $1750 delivered? I can't even get the places offering 20% off on most items to apply 20% to that product. I'm obviously looking in the wrong place... a little help would be greatly appreciated!

THanks!!
My guess would be it's only the 6'10" model, not the 8' one. There's a big difference in price between the two versions.
I have an Undercover Flex on my F150. Just ordered the Undercover Ultra Flex for my new 17 F350. It's carpeted on the bottom, comes with a free seal kit, LED strip lights for underneath, a soft bag to store stuff that hangs along the side of the bed etc AND you can open and close the tailgate with the cover down. $825 USD shipped anywhere in the USA.

Yeah their website blows the big one. To clarify the quote above^, this is for the 6'-10" model, not the 8' one. Order for your needs of course.

I installed my RetraxPro MX (8ft Ford version part# 80384) yesterday morning. I watched the video twice prior, and the install was very straight forward and cheating w the video ahead of time is advised.
Took 1-1/2 hrs. Guess it comes down to on how fussy you want to be with the measurements (width) between the rails at the clamping points. I was, so it took a bit longer tightening the clamps, making measurements, loosening clamps making set screw adjustments... Mine came in at 59-9/16" inside edge to edge. Very hard on the knees btw, I would suggest knee pads (which I couldn't find mine!, but I folded up some of the foam packing for a knee cushion).
After install; They say to let the cover rest and seat the seals in the closed or covered position. So that is where she stands, extended all the way and locked.
IMO, it's an awesome tonneau, after install w a 100mi lunch cruze, going over rough RR tracks and looking back in the mirror... stable, not any wobble, flex or anything. The ball bearing track is perfect also. But, for this kind of money I expect all of this.
