Mike - Thanks for your input. I got it figured out! Here's a shot of the aux battery carrier sitting where it is supposed to go.
The red circles indicate where the N605892 bolts go through vertically. And, by the way, I found a neat web page that explains that those bolts are M6-1.0 x 22.5mm.
The red arrows show where the N605892's go through horizontally.
The yellow arrows show where the ear on the reservoir bolts to the carrier
The yellow oval shows where a tab on the reservoir is supposed to sit. However, this reservoir has the tab broken off, although you can see what the tab looks like at this neat web page, and it is shown within a yellow oval - oddly enough.
And, here's another view showing where the bolts go in horizontally, after the carrier goes through the slot in the fender.
Branden - Do they make them here? Do they have a sales office?
And, the smoke might be a ground. I was on 71st headed west across from the mall, turning left into Barnes & Noble. Killed it and it wouldn't start, with two cars behind me.
I think so. They used be right off of 11th st and I 44. A guy I went to High School with went down there and killed his gf then shot himself a few years ago.

Yes, I see them on the map. But, looking at their products I don't see any that thrill me. Their prices are as high as Warn's and they don't seem to come with synthetic.

Maybe just the difference in model years, or maybe specific to dual battery setup, but my on my '82 the hose from radiator to coolant reservoir goes in at the top of the reservoir, not the bottom. There is no nipple on the bottom.
Mike - I think the bumper sticker should read "I'm not through peeling this onion, so from time to time I have to stop and peel another one and cry a bit."
On the reservoir, it is a difference in model years. Go look at the "neat web page" link and you'll see the difference as well as how to swap to the later one. And, I highly prefer the later one as I find it much easier to keep the radiator full with them.
(the one on Amazon isn't an M) on the primary side, so I am considering the same one on the aux side.
However, that battery measures 13" long and the aux battery tray is only 12" long. But, as shown below, there is 13"+ of room if I put a stuffer in the tray to raise the battery up above the lip. That would have the battery contained L/R by the piece jutting up on the left and the tongue that goes into the fender on the right.
That way I'd have 1150 CCA's for both starting and winching. And, I'd be able to rotate batteries so that they'd get used.
I use only AGM (Absorbed Glass Mat) sealed batteries. They handle high temp and vibration better than lead-acid batteries, and can be cycled many more times.
I was watching a NOS OEM driver side battery tray setup on ebay but the seller never reposted it after the auction ended it but it never sold on ebay, but I eventually plan on putting a aux. battery in my F150
