I was under there Morris and everything was fighting me but now I know all what I need so will go back out tomorrow. I was a little side tracked too by going over to our neighbors to let her dogs out. All this parts are put on at the factory before the motor ever sees the frame and it's so damn tight trying to get a wrench on anything

My 83 Mustang 5.0 convertible was like that plus the wire to the starter was too short to let me lower the starter enough to unbolt it. I`m certainly real glad I didn`t have to do it outside in the winter.

The wires to the starter are the big problem, the 2 bolts holding the starter are easy to get to but tight as hell. I was going to go get a long bar but said the hell with it because my hands were getting too cold to hang onto it..
