If you're getting it, it means we will likely be in for more of it...
Hopefully it blows it`s self out long before it gets to you. I`ve only had to clean my yard once this winter.
Sounds like your cameras are working good Perry.
Picture would have been better if he was standing still and not on a bike at speed but there's enough to recognize him pretty easily. If you have the EZVIZ outdoor system with the -40 cameras then you have the same system John, the only difference is the pvr. Mine can expand to 8 cameras and has the 2 terabyte hard drive, we both have an audio channel.
That's an oddball system that they have as the only 2 cameras that you would use a Mike with are the ones mounted at the front and back doors. I'm thinking about running an audio feed from the front doorbell button and having a separate recording and camera system for that, but given the problem that I've had with our Police it would be a good idea. There's going to be a multi camera and audio system going into the shop as part of another project idea so this place is going to be a bit like a Hollywood film set and studio. Lol The cats will be stars one of these days.
I was out and about putting up bandit posters on the light poles around here and letting everyone I met know what I was doing, this law and order program is starting to catch on.
The cats will protect me from them, its our so called Police Service that'll be the problem, according to them, I'm the problem not the junkies plus its "not their fault that I'm so stupid that I told the junkies that they could help themselves to everything I own ", their words. Apparently nobody wants me living in this area, the junkies are my best friends and I should be grateful for everything that they've done for me. Who needs terrorists when we have cops like these.
Over Xmas I had a visit from friends in the B.C movie service and supply industry, Michelle is a set director's assistant and Nick is a supply driver. They know enough about the industry that they know how sound and film stages are setup ,I've known them both since I had the warehouse in Vancouver. They know that I still work the auctions so they told me what to look for camera wise in order to set up my shop with cameras. There's a lot of digital cameras that are regular personal cameras on the market and my biggest concern is to make sure that they have a cable connection like my security cameras. The other concern is to make sure that the shop stays above 0f so that the cameras don't freeze up. It would take about $500 total cost to turn it into a studio including the hard drives and I've got 2 towers and a few loose hard drives downstairs. For me the biggest cost would be for the cables, installation is the same as the camera system that I have. Most of the conversation was laughter inspired but it's pretty easy to do.
Plus a lot of reminder advice ie, movie set booms have to hold 1200 pounds, my booms would only have to hold a 1 kilogram camera and any moveable swing arm would work and I can run everything from a panel inside the shop and piggyback my feed harness on the harness that's already up. Cameras are $5 to $30 for me so an 8 camera system would be cheap.
