It`s now -15 and feels like -24 John. there will be a few nights with -20`s then ''milder'' next weekend.
Morning Morris. Another day at the office. Wind has picked now that the front came through. Temps are dropping as well. Will be in teh single digits overnight tonight. Saying we could see a low temp around 9*F or -12.7*C. Windchill will make it feel like it is around -10*F to -21*F or -22*C to -29*C overnight. I will be warming the truck up in the morning for sure.
Good that you could warm up Steve, I couldn`t take an entire evening being cold. Anything even near 0°C would be welcome.
Wind on a cold winter day really bites around here Shaun, it can make a decent day pretty miserable.
Some days it`s a bit hard to get fully dressed for this kind of cold John.

Looks like I'm going to have to pull the starter in the driveway, I can't get a good enough swing with the hammer to hit the starter in hopes of bumping it

Is it a V6 or a V8, what make of car Jon?
I much prefer roast chicken over turkey. Is you son playing at the hockey?
Do you work tonight or do you more evening off Steve?

A V8 starter is hard to get at, a hoist certainly makes it easier. Of course that`s nothing that you didn`t already know.

Ia your car running now? If so can`t the truck wait a bit till it`s warmer? I hate to see you freeze your fingers.

Truck can wait but like to have it running if it's going to be sitting in the driveway

I know how you feel but I wouldn`t be able to do much outside in this weather, it would just have to wait if I couldn`t get it inside.

It's only 2 bolts after disconnecting the terminals, shouldn't be too bad, might have to jack it up a bit and slide some timber under the front wheels to make it a little easier to crawl under..
