At 175 watts it overloads at 1/3rd volume, I've got 1300 watts worth of speakers Steve. My last amp was 550 watts and my buddy Thomas rigged up cross over boards for my speakers and it worked great until the controller board blew, it's a common problem, not a to much volume problem. The idea of my system is to hear every note and sound that was recorded which is why I have about 50 different speakers in my sound system. With my old amp I couldn't put it past half volume as the windows were rattling to much as there's to much volume of sound, you can feel the sound at 6 feet away and it will make you sick at 70% volume.

Good to hear that you`re off till after Christmas Steve. The 49 is certainly capable but comfort isn't a word that comes to mind.
I find headphones work the best for being able to every note and sound Perry, my hearing isn`t the best now.

Not much of a choice Morris. my shift is short a person right now because of a coworker retired for health reasons. They have not hired a replacement person so pretty much me and my coworker flip a coin for Christmas. The other person gets New Years off. Hopefully the higher ups will start some interviews after New Years.
