That looks smokin`! My friend has a 58 restored Meteor wagon in a similar colour. He also has a restored 58 Meteor 4 dr sedan and an unrestored 60 Meteor 4 dr sedan I sold him close to 20 yrs ago. I call him the Meteor man.
This one from what I've seen of it is pretty solid but wouldn't know for certain until I could see under it. It's missing the seats and has no motor in it but the transmission is sitting inside it..all glass and bright work is on it
That sounds like a pretty good start, likely the motor wouldn't be any good if it's been sitting for any length of time. Let us know if you find out anything on it.
There's 3 56 lincoln's there too but have the one year only Y-block in them, the motors still turn over in them so if the motor was in this wagon it likely would have been okay too. But seeing as the motor was out of it it likely had something wrong with it I why it was pulled or it went into something else..
It started out as a wrecking yard years ago but one guy was killed in a logging accident and that ended it so became pretty much private, that's where I bought my panel and pickup. A lot of the cars are gone now. There are some Chrysler products, Cadillac's ,Oldsmobile's, Pontiac's and several Ford trucks in the late 70's still there and likely more in among the trees..it's getting pretty grown up in parts of the yard
