It does here too late July and through August. This year was really hot with temps in the 90's and some over 100° not counting the humidity..

I was having a problem with the heat and humidity this year.. either that or allergies had my throat closing up.. had to get some cool air to feel better..

It's to cold this week to wash clothes down by the river, besides, there's to many drunks and druggies down there already. My grandmother had a wringer washer and made her own soap also, it was always the dirty 30s around her place.

We had an old wringer washer at home and my mom didn't want one of the new top loads but did finally get one later in life...
