Anywhere in the low 60's would be awesome Steve, actually even a few degrees above freezing would be awesome.
I see your point Shaun, black powder guns aren`t exactly compact. What do cannons range in price?
I haven`t heard the term Blunderbuss for quite awhile Perry.
Cannons run in price from around 5 grand and up Morris. That does not include accessories like ram rods, buckets. Also doe not include the carriage for it. That price is just for the tube. ( Barrel) Morris I have 2 modern hand guns that are more easily carried. But no permit to carry them all the time. Only allowed to go to the range, competitions, and the gun shop with them. Unloaded of course.
Wow, 5 grand would buy some nice parts for my old Mercury truck Shaun. What are those modern hand guns? Ever since I saw some Dirty Harry, Clint Eastwood movies I`ve been fascinated with .44 Magnum guns.
I`m still slowly organising my shop, since it got colder my progress has almost come to a halt.
The grills look great John, makes me want to clean some of mine and mount them on my shop walls. What colour are you painting the 53 one?
I'll likely only put it in primer , that way if I happen to get another truck later it will be ready for what ever color I choose then..I still have a 55 grille that needs to be sandblasted next summer too, I've already taken the dents out if it, but need newer hockey sticks to replace the ones that were on it as they were pretty damaged..I would also like to find a couple more sets of headlight rings for a 56...
That's what I've done with both of mine so just primer makes the most sense for now..I'll spray epoxy and high build primer then all it needs is a quick sanding before final paint..Do you have any spare 56 headlight rings..?
