Stampeders win the Grey Cup!!!!

I`d have to look to see if I have still any 56 headlight rings John, it`s possible. Are they the same as 55?
I`m sure you could find some wall art at an auction Perry. Are all the auction just on line now?

Morris, the one on the top represents the 1911 and the bottom one is representative of a Springfield XD.. About everyone is making a 1911 ..

It's very seldom that anything that can be used as wall art comes up and its ridiculous in price, even worse now that everything is an online auction. Rusted out 30s grill for around 250 total price, that was in the spring, the starting bid was higher than my buy bid was going to be.

Thanks for the pictures Steve, I thought that 1911 meant the yr of manufacture.
Is it different hrs week nights? If you didn`t have to work late likely it`s easier on your toe. Is it feeling a bit better this evening?

It was the year Morris when first introduced. the style has endured and actually flourished..
During the rest of the week, I get off at 10-11.. depends on how much I need to accomplish after we close.
The toe has become tolerable.. I am not limping but still somewhat tender..

They sure had advanced gun design in 1911, looks like a modern weapon.

Thank you Steve, you are really up on your guns. What time do you usually start work during the week if no one is missing?
It sounds good about you toe but if it's still tender be very careful, you don't want to aggravate it.
I agree that was a really advanced design all the way back in 1911 Perry, it does look pretty darn modern.

Thanks for the compliment Morris on firearms.. I have a couple and I do my own reloading of cartridges..
I usually go to work at 4 to be there for my 5:00pm shift.. Sundays varies between 3 and 4 when my shift starts..
I am trying to protect my toe from damage again but can't wear hard toe shoes, just tennies..
And it was rather advanced in design, so was the Luger (first model 1900 then the P08 in1908) and the Broomhandle Mauser (1896-1937)..

48-55 rings are the same Morris and give the grille that bug eyed look, the 56 is dished in. You'll notice the difference between your 56 and 53
