That is a good way to be trained Morris.. Right now if I don't do it , it won't get done..
You sound like my wife Steve...her mom was a school teacher and she thinks she`s one. Just kidding, my wife is a keeper.

Good evening John.
Maybe it cost the same to ship two as one but that doesn't explain the difference in distance. Wonder if they subsidised part of the shipping? What did the 2 fenders cost you before the shipping cost?
I'd have to go through my bills but they were't damaged fenders so paid full price. You have lots of cash anyways Morris, you're still getting a deal..
I`m curious about what full price is for undamaged fenders. I was told I`m saving about $200 but I want to double check (without the bother of going through their website). Seems that it's an ok deal....from the crappy picture the damage doesn't look real bad.
I got it in their email reply sent to me. It showed a small dent just behind the headlight on top of the fender, I think even a hopelessly inexperienced amateur like me should be able to fix it.
I'd give LMC a look just to get a price check, nobody seems to pleased with their Chinese parts.
Hope your toe gets back to normal Steve, Xmas trees already, bah humbug.
The owner of this rental is a pita, gave her the option of hiring a junkie or drunk if she wants a better price. She wanted a deal on the blinds that I bought and then wanted a better price on labour, she thinks I should work for $5 an hour, theres 12 hours of labour on this job over 3 days because of drying time on the mud and she had this brilliant idea that I'd do it for $80 including travel time and fuel. Told her that I'll take out the lock and return the blinds tomorrow, right now I'm ignoring her calls, texts and emails until 11.
You can't beat OEM parts Perry but nobody makes them anymore...lol Fenders all come from the same source and aren't too bad. The stuff from China is better than the junk they make in the United States. Anything I got that was US made either had to be butchered and reworked to make fit or just tossed in the garbage..
Have you ordered it yet, if not it might not be there anymore..
It's been there for awhile now John, I have a feeling that parts for our old trucks aren't moving very quickly. I haven`t decided as I have 2 sets of front fenders that could be repaired and also a front set of fiberglass ones.
The Chinese copies aren't the best but will do in a pinch Perry. It sounds like that owner is a real pain in the butt, I'd ignore her calls too.
Things have worked themselves out on this job Steve, her husband called and this is back to being a normal job. She's Hong Kong Chinese and he's Canadianized Chinese and runs a vinyl graphics company and is to busy to look after the rentals, that's her department. They came to me on referral 2 years ago and when she does the Hongkong act I hard line and ignore her until he calls and things go to normal again. In Vancouver you get used to this type of dealing with certain Chinese people, the Hong Kong attitude is a bit rude but over there its just the way life is. She rents out these places and gets top dollar, looks after the books and as a result they're doing quite well, she knows in the old country people pretty much pay her to work for her and experts to be the same way here.
Nothing like OEM but once the dies get worn out they go to China and they use a thinner gauge metal so that the parts come out close to what they should be. At Behlen Wickes we would have to replace the dies as they would get worn, granary wall panels would develop a twist and then the die would go back to the tool and die room.
