Hello Grant, John, Shaun, Steve, Perry and all who lurk here.
The auction was a bust, it was over by the time we got there'' fashionably late'' to miss all the small and junkie items. It must have only a very few items.
I prefer the 53-55`s John, 56`s are very similar but have a different gauge cluster.
Getting more rain Shaun?
Weekend off Grant?
How's your day going Steve?
Pretty chilly wind here Perry, next week it`s supposed to get above freezing.

I'm doing a walk through on a rental unit that needs light repairs, only 1 5" hole to be patched and the usual blinds and lock replacement with closet doors that need rehanging. The place needs lots of cleaning and a few paint chips in the walls.

These auctions like to get rid of the smalls and junk first thing to allow time for the equipment bidders to get in the yard, got to skip the worm if you want to be an early bird there.

That is light repairs, at times I`ve had to repaint all the walls from tenants hanging pictures and other objects. People with pets are another area of concern, it all depends on the owners.
I wasn`t overly excited about this auction after I learned that it wasn't a close out, a few of the older inventory of flat deck and utility trailers that didn`t sell. It still was a nice outing with dinner at a nearby town.

Don't think I'll do much sandblasting in the winter again, I have a better setup in the summer away from the shop..

Sandblasting is real messy. I found a place that's pretty reasonable to do mine.

This rental wasn't to bad compared to some places I've gone into, what I don't like is when home owners decide to paint these places in odd ball colors instead of something standard that's easy to match up. The biggest part of this job is the cleanup in the oven and fridge.
To bad the auction wasn't better, it'll be a while before I do any spending unless there's a windfall that comes my way. I'll be building some equipment and working on projects until they get to the finishing stage.
