Happy Friday Mornin'all. They're predicting some big snow here also. I don't trust the weather people any more. They can't predict the weather standing in it! None the less, we'll be prepared. Have a great day guy's.
Good late afternoon FTE folks.
Wow, $2- 300 for meat is a lot of meat. It`s already started this afternoon in Calgary Perry? I don`t like the real fine sticky snow, big flakes that are a lot easier to brush off vehicles.
I don't trust the weather people any more either Grant, like you I`ll be prepared.
Getting any more today John? So far all we`ve got is ''Winter Storm Warning'', what ever that`s supposed to mean. Sounds like we`ll get hit starting later on tonight. It`s -6°C, +6°C would be really nice.
The snow started this morning and when I put the shovel to it we had 6 - 8" worth and not the 10 cm we were supposed to get, still is snowing. When this weather quits and things get to normal I'll be picking up an 80 gallon, 220 powered air compressor, will probably be on Monday.
Vancouver is good for Asian and Italian meats but if you want real butchers meat or Northern and central European or Mennonite and Hutterite meats Cloverdale meats was the place to go, they also had dry smoked meats like duck and salmon. I've always have had a thing for good quality food and like having a good variety around.
No snow here yet, a bit windy but not bad, feels just like the calm before the storm now. An 80 gallon air compressor is a nice size,
I`m a plain meat and potatoes kind of guy, nothing fancy for me.
The forecast has changed here now since yesterday, sounds like it's going to hit further south of us. I'll be grateful if it does...there was some clouds this morning but nice clear and sunny again now..
It`s a good day to be inside while all this snow and wind is happening, its`ll heading your way into Manitoba Grant. Tomorrow is supposed to be nicer and then we`ll get another bunch of snow on Monday.
+5 now. Just washed the fleet. We have truck's leaving tomorrow. My bro is taking a load to Detroit. He usually leaves Sunday noon, but opted to leave tonight, in case of bad weather. That means, I will have to go in tomorrow morning and let the other Detroit bound truck out, and 1 to Saskatoon. The rest leave Monday for Toronto and Chicago. John: I'll try to give you a call tonight. Spray your shovel's with silicone tonight guy's. You may need them!
It sounds like we may miss the first storm slated to come through this way and go further south. Was supposed to hit us today but still beautiful and sunny yet and +4°
Our crap has stopped falling but the sky is still white so more may be on the way, no driving in this town until some more plowing and fools clear the streets. Hope you don't see rain today John, can't imagine the snow missing you unless it has an ulterior motive.
