Why do pictures lie so much Perry...the Meteor looks decent in the pictures.
I really like that dash.
It was still nice to get out to the game that was about an hr an a half. We did leave a little bit early.
I might be able to remove most of the 2 dents in the chrome and seeing as its in pretty good shape, might be able to sell it off. theres some pieces that are good enough for a restoration and the rear window is mint, most of what will get sold is suspension related. The bottom parts of the panels are rusted but I knew that when I bought it, its the curves that I need as they are a pita to make starting from scratch.
I bought a 53 Monarch 4 dr a few yrs aog in about the same shape, rusty lower panels pus the interior was really bad. It didn`t take me long to realise what it would cost just to get it even close to being respectable so I traded it and a big chunk of cash for my 64 XL.
That Galaxy is a whole lot nicer and is better to be seen in than even the best this year Meteor has to offer. If I get half of my $500 cost back I'll be happy, like I said, it was the dash and body metal that I was after.
Happy Saturday all. Greek (can't pronounce souvlaki) pork chops, and wild rice casserole for supper tonight. Perry: that car looks good in the pic's. Hack the trunk off and make a couch for the man cave. Have a great day guy's.
Hello Shaun, is it another ho hum Sunday at work?
Hello John, get any more snow, is it a very cold day there too?
Happy Saturday all Grant....? That would be like me, some times I a day behind too. That sounds like a deadly supper. I like that idea of a Meteor couch.
Admiring the inch of snow that fell last night, it'll be there tomorrow when its warmer.
Getting ready for the Nascar crash fest.
Actually I was thinking of making a yard swing from the back half of the Overland tub, going to need a few body pieces from the back end of the Merc to rebuild the back end of the Overland. There may be a butchered and abandoned 47 Ford pickup showing up in 2 weeks, no title so its parts only. The Overland could very well be getting boat tailed.
4H is one of the best programs for kids, they should have something like it for city kids and learn them some responsibility.

-14° here right now and going down to -26° tonight, we got about 1/2" of snow. That's a good idea about making the couch for the man cave if you have a man cave, especially if it's eventually going for scrap.
Good afternoon Perry, more snow? Just what you don`t need..
Hopefully the start of Nascar is finally interesting, if not I`m done for the yr.
Why do you need a tittle for 47 Ford pickup? You should be able to register it without one, I pretty sure it works that way in Sk we could for a vehicle over thirty yrs.
It was nice to see all the kids making their 4H presentations, some very very young and did really well.
It`s -23 with a bit of wind, it`s certainly nice to see this sun shine.
