Good morning folks.
Yrs ago f I didn`t look after my vehicles I would have been walking Perry, I never did believe in wasting money I didn`t have. Blackie must be a good hunter, there is wild life around. Donna, my shop cat, is like a raccoon but the she gets all she can eat.
Good morning Shaun, what`s on your plate today?
Good morning Grant, John, I think most of western and central Canada is very cold.

I still have one eye open for an older Ford 2-3 ton truck for watering my trees in case it`s a dry yr. Not much out there that isn`t rusted and the ones that aren`t are over priced.

There is some farming in my area still Morris. A few small farms. The bigger ones are north and west of town and on the Eastern shore of Maryland. In fact the community I live in is built on an old farm. It was also a battlefield as well.

There must have a lot of interesting history there.
Are these farms grain, cattle, dairy?

A little bit of both Morris. The history for my area was mainly from September 1814 when the British army and navy were in the area. navy was firing at Fort McHenry and the British army was marching towards Baltimore. Not too far from my house is a monument dedicated to General Robert Ross who was killed in action. He died on the field. His body was taken back to the ship and put in a barrel of rum to preserve it. Sadly the Navy started drinking it and they had to stop in Nova Scotia and bury him with full military honors.

Well it was the navy after all Morris. The Army had better standards. At least in the army we had a physical. You had to have 2 opposing teeth. if you did not you were advised to go join the navy.
