Good afternoon Shaun, John, Grant, Perry and all who lurk here.
Almost quitting time Shaun?
Hope you weren`t as cold last night as it was here John, Grant, it went down to -32. Now -18°C feeling like -30°C/0°F.
Our 1 day warm up is tomorrow Perry, 0°C then -6°C Wed.
You must've pissed God off in your younger days John and now hell is frozen over in your neck of the woods.
Went to the Drs. office for my blood test results, I'm still alive and my blood isn't green, LDL levels have been going up yearly so now I'm on Lipitor to see if they come down. I've done the diet change 2 years ago but that hasn't stopped it from rising and I'm not about to go vegetarian.
Hell is frozen over here too and I don`t remember doing anything quite that bad Perry.
I got called into my doc`s for tomorrow morning, not sure if it`s for my blood pressure or my kidney function test.
What does LDL lmean?
Sounds good, I`ll have to hunt for that transmission. After a few flurries possible for Wednesday there`s no snow in our forecast. Around -11°C this weekend, I hope the wind finally goes away.
I saw one on kijiji but because it came out of a Mustang the guy is convinced its a " high performance " his words, transmission and he's asking 1500 for transmission and bellhousing. He thinks I'm ignorant and rude because I started to laugh while he unloaded his transmission knowledge on me.
There's a lot of fools around, this Meteor we bought was 1400 but was priced at 2000. The guy that I bought it with was willing to pay 1800 as its so hard for him to find a 255 flathead, he only looked a few days and then placed an ad for it. I saw the ad and swung the deal as I read kijiji every night and know what's around and for how long. There were 2 other non running Meteors 3400 and 4000 and they'll get sold to the scrap yard as both owners will have deleted my final offer of 500. I was my own purchase agent for 21 years of buying and selling furniture and checking out what's for sale is normal for me. Next winter I'll probably make a few trips as far as Winnipeg to pickup stuff that's of value or to be resold. If a person wakes up and decides they need something right now they deserve to pay through the nose for it. If you have the ability to know what you want and the ability to wait until you find what you want you'll usually get it at a good price. When the insurance evaluator comes next month I hope my cost of possessions is 1/3 of his evaluation value, I might be able to have a fire sale then. Lol
