Does anyone know of a unloading area called "big lift" in Colorado. My truck is currently there only 60 miles from my dealership, but my ETA recently was "manually adjusted" from 12/06 to 12/21. I'm wondering if they're having issues at this unloading area and if trains are possibly stacked up.

Here's my rail car #: CTTX694652

Kylant, your truck arrived in Nort Platte, NE at 3:11 PM on 12/03 waiting to be switched to a train going to Salt Lake. Should be on its way again I think 24 hours.

out of curiosity, where is the final destination/rail yard near boise? or do you have any idea where the truck would be unloaded from the train and go on a transport truck?

thanks again

That's a fun overhead photo. That's the Roper terminal in SLC and all of the Ford trucks are unloaded and parked in the section just below (south) of the small building. There are frequently many more trucks than can fit in that section and they will start filling the lot to the west which is completely empty in this photo. It's interesting to watch the runners drive car after car or truck after truck out of the rail cars and park them and quickly run to a roving van with no back door and ATV flags on it. The transporters typically line up on the "road" directly below the culdesac-like turnaround. The drivers all carefully inspect the cars before they load. When full, they're off to multiple destinations. I used to think they would wait until a certain dealership had enough to fill a transport truck but it's not that way. Those trucks are loaded like a UPS delivery van which can go to several dealerships before emptying the load.

thank you.
I hope it doesn’t sit at the rail yard waiting for the transport truck for an extended period of time. The ETA is 8 days from now.

Sorry, I'm not able to track your truck on the rail car because it's not on my railroad. Wish I could tell you more.

Kylant, your truck has departed North Platte at 3:00 PM today and is scheduled to arrive Roper on 12/05 at 8:00 PM. It should be unloaded on 12/06.

My dealer let me know they're unloaded in Rolla, but it appears my truck has gone through Rolla. Or is the most recently tracked destination at the bottom of the list?
