Sounds like mine. Why can't they just give us the number? I get it, I'm not their only customer, but how hard is it really to keep me updated and give me the rail car number? Probably take less than two minutes a day.
I asked the same question on here a day or two ago and got crickets. I think the only way is from your dealer. I did get some useful intel from a Ford rep but not the rail car number. With that said, I believe my truck is off the rail and will be enroute to the dealer following Thanksgiving for delivery early next week.

Your dealer is a pud. As far as I know they are the only ones who can give you that information. It literally would take him 30 seconds to just give you the dang rail car number. I have no tolerance for people like that and would turn the tables on him. He does value the survey that Ford sends to you soon after delivery. Those results mean real dollars to him. Maybe he'll condescend from his high horse and provide some actual customer service if he knows your survey will be unfavorable. Just a thought.

I have to agree with Epic on this. My salesman has been sending me regular updates, without me asking, just about everyday. Today I know my truck is at the rail distribution point here in CA and he thinks it should get to the dealership by Monday, maybe even sooner.
That might not sound exceptional, but I know he has been undergoing chemotherapy to fight cancer. When I get to fill out that survey it will definitely be solid 10's.

power trip.....I explained that if he gave me the info, it's actually better cause then he wouldn't hear from me until he'd call to come get it.
Not even a reply. Makes me so mad. Makes me want to go buy a local one (if there was any) and tell him to pound sand. Unfortunately, on a special order, they know they got u. U special ordered for a reason. Too bad it has to be that way.

My salesman has given me zero updates or info unless I ask first and then he doesn't answer all my questions. Conveniently just ignores some. So every time I get some info from other sources I email it to him. Kind of like "hey bud, this is what you should be doing".
I asked for the rail car number 3 times. I told him to give my contact info to the guy that does the ordering or give me his contact info and I'll work directly with that guy. Nope.
DDT11 and Nullop, your trucks have been delayed and should arrive tomorrow evening due to the holidays. I'm sure they will be backed up at the auto facilities and should be on the ground by Monday. They're passing by Red Rock, CA @1:51 PM 11/24

I found out today my truck has been in transit since 11-18 and is sitting in MN on ramp 2k. TTGX704485. I never could get a car number from my dealer until today. My salesman no longer works there. I was told he took another position at another company. It's good to know the arrival is finally only days away. I never thought about the servey. Thanks for bring that up
Looks like my truck made it through production.
Dealer Vehicle Visibility Report says it started into production on 11/15. Build was completed on 11/23. Shipped to Body Company on 11/25 for what I am assuming is the spray-in liner. Picked up from the body company by Ray Cooper Transport on 11/27. On 11/28 at 1:00pm it went into transit and is now on Rail Car TTGX992650 (Csx Transportation). I can't believe it is going this fast after waiting so long. Can any of you guys help me track this train? Thanks!
