Good morning gents. On 9-11 I was on our nation's border fighting an impossible war on smuggling drugs etc into our sacred homeland. Now, so many years later.... liberals are welcoming these people into our country in which I believe will most likely start Revelations from the Bible. I am glad I am not on the border anymore. And while I am at it? That wall would be a great thing!! I would know, I spent more than a decade and a half down there.
dont need a wall, walls can be climbed or dug under... just bring our military home from fighting everyone else's wars... make a line from the pacific to the gulf within eyesight (gunsight) of each other then just dare them to try and cross.. i know it is not that simple but we have to start somewhere
but then again ..china had a wall that worked for a few years..
Afternoon all. Not getting much done this weekend. The wife came home from work sick Friday, so I've spent most of my weekend taking care of her. She's feeling better this afternoon, so I think I'm going out to see if can get at least one side of the 4Runner taken care of this afternoon. There's not a whole lot that has to be broken down to get it apart, but what's there might be kind of stubborn.
Went to my friend's place Saturday and replaced my u-joints. I still have the flerndippin' vibration
Next step is having the balance checked on the tires. I'm hoping I don't have bad tires (bought brand new in April on line) or one the used wheels are bent.
We got the rear steering working on High Roller today. We just have to run a couple more wires to make it work like it should from inside the cab. Aside from throttle linkage, under the hood is done too. All the big components are on bolted to the truck now. One more day to get everything as far as it's gonna get before the show.
Well, it's probably a good thing I decided to change the front wheel bearings in the wife's car. They're so bad the inner race is fused to the wheel hub on the right side. I've got new hubs ordered and they'll be here Tuesday. The wife called in sick tomorrow and will have to use the Dangitdontgo Tuesday. I'll probably take off work a little early Tuesday if the weather is decent to at least get the one side back together.
dave did i miss where franken-truck is broke down? so that you have to use the dodge.. i hope your wife feels better soon and you can get the fleet back on line..
i did not do hardly anything today.. i got a few tires re-mounted then put back on the street rod.. then i got the heavy stuff (1 1/2 ton frt and rear axles) out of the bed on the 48 chevy so i can get started getting it apart later this week.. then i drove 'ole rip' and the street rod around for a few miles (had a blast its a good way to relax) after i added some fresh gas to the tank's.. i was getting afraid of the old gas that was in both trucks.. so drained them then added a few gallons new premium gas, hoping to avoid trouble later

Frankentruck is alive and well RC. The wife's car is under the weather. Front bearings are toast along with the boots on the cv joints on the front axles. Since I've got to tear everything else apart to fix all that, I'm also replacing the factory original 170k mile ball joints with new Moog joints.
