Good morning all. Been messing with Grandpa's Chassis some. Got some parts from Alan, and am looking to see what I want to do as far as lift if any etc...may just wait till I get the cab and flatbed on it so I can get a good look at it put together and go from there.
Dang time has a way of getting away from you when all you're doing is working and running people to the Dr. Yep working 6 nights a week sucks but the paychecks don't. It just doesn't leave any time for anything else.
Get you head above water and then work to build a steady underwater foundation to stand on. Keep swinging for the fence, when it connects is will be a game changer for sure.
Howdy all! Dangitdontgo still don't go. Scan tool cannot find a PCM to communicate with and I cannot find a good trouble tree for diagnosing it or the ASD module. Electronic controlled engines are great when they work, they're a bear when something like a PCM or other module fails, three's no code for why it failed.
I feel your pain as far as no time for anything but work! We've been doing day shifts during the week and a night shift during the weekend.
No more for me though. As of this Tuesday I'm outta that place. I've had a few offers from dealerships since I've been in the warehouse but finally got one I couldn't say no to. Now I get to deal with phantom noises and tires that started wearing funny after an oil change again!
sure must be nice to have a real paying job.... i am retired now, that don't mean i no longer have to work... just means i no longer get paid for it..... ha ha ha ha....
i did get to visit a little while with alan at performance auto, and check on HR progress.. sure is looking good!!!
then a quick stop at jeff's to drop off a driveshaft and forget a clutch.. ha ha ha .. i did make it over to harbor freight to pick up a few items (89.00 dollars worth of few)..
met a guy and picked up a set of factory ford alcoa wheels for ole rip... they are good looking wheels will look even better after a bit of polishing...
Yeah, after I built and painted the wheels for HR, I got them on the truck. I keep staring at it. This thing is looking AMAZING! The pin striper finished up the lettering and stripes yesterday. A few more odds and ends and it'll be ready to ship.
