So back to a previous comment I had made, today my dealer informed me that my TPMS/Camera kit arrived. My truck is still 3-4 weeks away. So I guess it's confirmed that the kit does indeed ship separately from the truck, and doesn't come in a box in the cab from the assembly plant. (As the hubcaps, etc do)
You are correct! When I picked up my truck on Monday, my salesman handed me the box with TPMS and cameras. He said it had been in his office for a couple of weeks.
If I'm going to use the Y-adapter from Nichols Manufacturing, where can I get another plug for the bed? The 7 pin/12-pin that comes with the camera kit.
The folks from Nichols have reported that folks who want the 12 pin in both locations have actually been purchasing two kits from Ford. That way they get two of the plugs as well. I guess the thinking is that the only reason you would need the 12 pin in both locations would be if you have two separate trailers with cameras and TPMS, one receiver hitch and one 5ver or goosneck. If that's the case, you would need two kits anyway.

I'm amazed you could actually figure out what I was trying to say, given how many typos I had in that post. I have now corrected them in the original. Sorry!

Thanks for the info. I was thinking just have the 12-pin in both places for future. I guess, I'll just put the 12-pin in the bed with the straight harness.
I just had a failed attempt to install the TPMS sensors on my trailer wheels. I need the .625 stems. Does anyone know the part number for these stems? They need to work with the extra sensors that came with the kit for the trailer. Thanks!!!
Does Ford make an extension for the 12 pin or is that only available from Nichols? My kit is pretty much done and my plate has been LineXed with the bed, it looks great and I'm gonna extend the harness this weekend, I just figure if Ford has one for half price of the Nichols one, then I'd buy it. If not, easy peasy extension, 15 minutes on my back.
My local dealer can't find a part number to order the Trlr Cam/ TPMS kit. Does anyone have a part number for that?
Better yet, I would like to order just the TPMS kit for my trailers only. I have 3 gooseneck trailers and 4 bumper pull trailers. I only want the camera on two of them. I would like to buy two more TPMS kits for the trailers I go down the freeway with. Don't really need them around the farm.
