Got the passenger side complete today. The cups where a mess. Took a lot longer than I expected to clean them to my standards. All torqued up to 24 ft pounds (old style injectors). It is very clean inside the motor considering the oil was so black when I changed it. I will finish the drivers side in the A.M. and service the lower fuel filter and put the updated drain on there too. Hopefully we will have a running truck tomorrow that doesn't smoke like a train.
Well it's up and running with no smoke, I have some issues thou. The alt is a piece of garbage. That definitely has to be changed. The FICM has to go to Ed. I should of sent it 2 weeks ago but that's another tale. Defiantly getting the Atlas 40. If you look at the Snap On scanner, you'll see why I say it has issues. It could be a bad inject from Ford. It's got a new FICM harness so that's not it. Maybe I'll take Jack up on his IDs offer before I send the FICM out
