Thanks Orich. I had thought myself about spraying graphite lube on it. Wasn't sure it was a acceptable thing to do though.

This cam builders little trick.

This cam builder Howards Cams machines a little thin narrow flat line down the side of the lifter to let more oil run out on to the cam lobe for extra oiling which is kind of a good idea, as long as your using a High volume oil pump..

I'm sure many of us can relate. Between work, school and basic life crap, there just aren't enough hours in the day.

But this morning I was able to get the cam and lifters cleaned, graphite and lube coated, and installed back In the block. So now I basically just have the timing cover and intake left to install, then put everything back in the truck and back together. I'm hoping to have it done Tuesday night or Wednesday.

I can't believe it's taken me this long already. This all started 3 weeks ago....

I've been kinda keeping myself close to my side of town because of my two job possibilities. One being Peoria Ford. These days of multiple job interviews and drug screening. God I miss the good ol' days. Anyways I'll be back at my Son's house helping him with his back yard saturday. Dobson and Ray area. Let me know if you need some help this weekend. Or sooner if they call me to get this ka ka handled early this week.
Speaking of which, do you know anybody with a Bobcat for hire cheap?

YES! What he needs done would prolly only take that tractor 18-30 minutes to do. The dirt in the middle of his back yard he tilled this past saturday. It just needs to be pushed to the back of his yard to level everything out. When are you and it available? Please PM, text, or call me.

You need me to drive to your side of town to help you? Or do you have it along enough where now it's a "one man show"?
