My agenda included waking up at 2am to feed Owen, waking up at 5:30am to feed Owen and change the outfit he peed through, keeping Mason out of trouble all morning, watching Mason play with the neighbor kids in the afternoon, doing laundry, doing research for future home improvements, cooking dinner, getting Mason in the bath...

Good evening Oregon and everyone everywhere else.
Made a trip to McMinnville this afternoon/evening to price check a S&W M&P 10. Got nowhere in Mac. We have a new gun shop in Mac that has a lot of goodies, but not what I was looking for. Didn't want to price the S&W M&P 10, Colt 901 or an Armalite AR 10. Said they are too hard to get and are put on an endless waiting list. They had 2 DPMS and a Windham they were eager to sell.
Bi-Mart (I've special ordered two AR's from them over the years) are not allowed to order any AR platform and can't even price out an M&P 10. The Sports Section Manager said he just had an argument with his corporate supply guy because they are talking about taking all Ruger Mini 14 out of inventory and not carrying them. Something about it was because the UCC shooter was using one. I told him that was bunk and he said he Knew and that was why he and corporate were having some pretty heated words.
Only have another 18 years (roughly 6570 nights) to go Evan. Oorah Marine!

If Montana wasn't so far from here and the ocean, I'd be there in a flash. Probably either out toward Belgrade or in the Dillon / Hamilton area. Wife has relatives in the Dillon area which is the MIL home country.
But alas, my roots are here, all the kids are here other relatives are here....well, my sister is here too, but she and her husband are talking about moving up to the Puget Sound - Spanaway area. The Sheriff's office has served them with papers now and the bank has put a padlock on their place so I don't know how they will ever come up with the credit to buy a place up there, but one can hope, wish and dream.
I only went to town to compare prices on the rifles. I pretty well have an M&P 10 lined up at Cabela's and they seem to be the cheapest. Was just wondering if I could find a "deal" closer to home. Obviously not. There are a couple over in Salem which is closer but they are a 100 and 200 higher. They seem to be going for way over MSRP.

Good morning Oregon and everyone everywhere else. Rain returned last night and still hasn't departed the area. I really wish it would just open up and really dump starting at about 1630 this afternoon. Maybe it would give those protesters in Portland something else to think about other than trampling on MY rights.
I also heard they started a Go fund me account...even in protest they have their hand out....gimmee gimmee.....Grrrrrr
On a lighter note....my 14 year old grandaughter decided to spend the weekend and we have been having a good time.
