In addition to the Vet Day Celebration at the Evergreen Air and Space Museum, they are also Celebrating the Marine Corp Birthday tomorrow.
"The Evergreen Aviation & Space Museum will offer free admission to veterans and one companion on Friday, Nov. 11. Hours are 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
The museum will hold its annual Marine Corps birthday event that day as well."
If your not doing anything come on up! Let me know and I'll meet you out there. Free dinner at the Vets club too.

your kidding me right? I thought all those dumba$$ protesters were here in Oakland and Buzzurkley.. Heck if they pulled this crap in kansas (other reds too) they`d probably get shot.

If I recall correctly she ended up in Oregon going to law school at Lewis and Clark in Portland. It was MOST UNFORTUNATE that she forgot to go home when she graduated.
As to the protesters I saw on TV last night, it appears a large number of them are from Mexico and there were a number of Mexican Flags. One really big one. Most of the rest were probably from California. One of them that was interviewed said he was an Oregonian, from right there "in Portland where we moved 6 years ago from Santa Clara."

I'll probably go up to Cabela's in the morning for a Pancake Breakfast, plus they have 10% off for Vets on Vet's day. I've been pretty careful on avoiding buying a couple of things waiting to try and get the biggest discounts I can. Plus, I now have a daughter in law that works up there. Trying to coordinate and see if either one of the boys are going up for the Vets breakfast, but I haven't gotten an answer yet. The oldest son has been putting in a lot of 12 to 14 hour days recently.

I noticed a heck of a lot, as in summer go to the beach, traffic out here on the coast highway when I went to town tonight. What the heck kind of attractive nuisance do you have going on over there this week / weekend?

It's a three day weekend for most!
I really wanted to shove a few people off the road today. Poke along till you could pass them and they would hit the afterburners and light the rockets, oh you can't get around safely now I will slow to 40mph.
