The appraiser came out early this afternoon. Now I get to hurry up and wait (something I'm not, good at) for him to get his end done, then he sends the pictures and info to another outfit that will rite up another appraisal. I imagine/hope to have everything done by the end of this week. Then to the insurance company for the indemnity bond for the title. I did get a price for that bond (1.5 times the amount of the highest appraisal). The bond is $100, plus an additional $15 for every thousand dollars. And I really don't think they would give a value of anything over a couple grand.
Mornen Tony!
It's been different to say the least. Even though it has been moving at a good pace it's also taken a few dollars that I would have rather spent on parts to fix a few things. But to have everything legal, this is what has to happen. But there's no way, anybody could convince me that the state isn't making a few bucks out of this.
I was bored and jut playing on line yesterday (like I do too often) and I found myself playing on youtube watching videos of options that are on the newer Ford trucks.
I came across one that mentioned "Auto Start-Stop". Josh do you have this on you 2015 Ecoboost. With the brake pedal pressed, and vehicle stopped, the engine actually shuts off, then starts when the brake pedal is released. And in the video the truck started up quick and had nice fast acceleration.
Unless the truck is towing, or in 4x4 mode. Then it is deactivated. This is a way that fuel mileage is increased. Even talked about newer batteries that had glass plates instead of the lead plates that have been around forever. I'd bet that isn't an inexpensive battery though.

ummm, I don't know. It doesn't shutoff when I am sitting at a stop sign. I assume if the AC is on, it would stay running as well, otherwise it could get pretty hot in there. But maybe I have to turn it on and off (the option I mean, not the truck)? Mine is only the XLT trim package, so it may come on the trim package that gets keyless go. Mercedes have used that technology for years (keyless go and engine off at stop signs). and it works pretty well, from what I can tell. There is a delay, just enough to be annoying, when you are trying to gun it from a stop sign, to say change lanes or what not. But otherwise it was one of those things that just worked.

Larry, what class do you normally run in at the race. 1 or 2a? I was looking at the Lee County mud sports website, and it just got me curious. Al looking at the Lee County mud sports website, and it just got me curious. Are The classes pretty much the same from one complex to another?
Josh, I don't remember seeing anything that gave what option package/packages that Stop-Start came on. It did show that on the bottom of the message center, once the engine shut off, that an "A" displayed.
With some more reading (something I don't do a lot of) it does look more like it's the 2.7. But there is supposed to be a button in the console to deactivate.
Other things like inside and outside temp, coolant temp, degree that the wheels are turned all make a difference, won't activate if in 4x4, or if a trailer is hooked up, and more.
Myself, I wouldn't like it.
You're the only person I know with a newer F150, so I had to ask.
